Wisaweisuan pints ut that in the case f Thailand, cllabratin is mainly based n bilateral agreements - Thailand has nw 18 ASEA-UNINET Member Universities - Each university has their wn internatinalisatin plicy - Review f Austrian-Thai schlarship prgrams - Prf. Wisaweisuan mentins during her presentatin that there are a cuple f internal administrative prblems / internal cmmunicatin prblems (e.g. PR). At the mment nly very few students and prfessrs knw abut ASEA- UNINET, hwever Thailand is wrking hard t make the internal cmmunicatin between universities mre sufficient and t increase visibility. - Credits shuld be adpted every 3 years -> wuld accmmdate the student exchange and make it mre cnvenient fr students t g abrad. - Idea t link a cnference with the plenary meeting Anther prblem is that mst staff/lecturers already have a PhD hwever schlarships mainly fcus n PhD studies. Dr.Vladimír Marík, Czech Republic - Reprt n the lng and fruitful relatinship between the Czech Republic and Asian cuntries, especially between Czech technical Universities and Asian Universities. - There has been a dramatic, but psitive, change in the last cuple f mnths due t the establishment f a new higher educatin ministry which is nw supprting internatinal exchange. Prf. Zainudin mentins that the cmmunicatin between the natinal crdinatrs is very difficult. Prf. Tja suggests t have a skype cnference n a regular basis. Prf. Rde, suggests t increase the usage f the ntice bard n the ASEA-UNINET website. Prf. Dr. Aye Myint, Rectr Yangn Technical University, Myanmar - Presentatin f new ASEA-UNINET Member University: Yangn Institute f Technlgy ASEA-UNINET President, Prf. Suastika thanks Rectr Prf. Myint fr his presentatin and highlights that he hpes that Myanmar will be an active member f ASEA-UNINET. Yangn Technical University is unanimusly accepted as new member f ASEA-UNINET. Prf. Dr. Aye Myint, is cnsequently appinted ASEA-UNINET Natinal Crdinatr fr Myanmar. Prf. Rde plitely asks whether it is pssible fr Yangn Technical University t pay the regular ASEA-UNINET Membership fee and entrance fee.
