In the Nexus, ur cmmitment is t bridge the gap between hw health prfessins learners (educatin) and health prfessinals (practice) create peple-centered and utcmes-fcused teams t learn tgether and make real-wrld imprvements. 3 Skills-Based Wrkshp Review Prcess and Criteria Wrkshp prpsals will be reviewed by the Nexus Summit Prpsal Review Cmmittee. The fllwing criteria will be used t evaluate prpsals: Organizatin f tpic knwledge Cntent Clarity Prfessinal Writing Cntributin t IPE and apprpriate relevance t current climate If Yur Prpsal Is Accepted: Lead presenter will be ntified f acceptance decisin n later than April 6, All accepted sessins will be evaluated using a Natinal Center standard prgram evaluatin framewrk. Nexus Fair Resurce Exchange Statins The Nexus Fair is a 90-minute interactive learning envirnment that facilitates synergy amng initiatives and rganizatins. Resurce Exchange Statins are a unique pprtunity t demnstrate yur interprfessinal tls, educatinal mdules, r ther practical resurces that may be f interest and value t clleagues in practice and educatin. Submissin Details fr Nexus Fair Resurce Exchange Statins The Nexus Fair Resurce Exchange ffers an pprtunity fr individuals r rganizatins t share interprfessinal assets tls, educatinal mdules, and ther practical resurces that may be f interest and value t clleagues acrss practice and educatin. Resurce Exchange statins are standard 6 by 30 tables with ne chair, and will be set up during ne f the 90-minute Nexus Fair sessins. Resurce Exchanges are nt paid exhibitrs, but instead are interactive tabletp presentatin settings ideal fr handuts, laptp presentatins, and ther materials t share infrmatin abut yur resurces and create key cnnectins. The Nexus Summit theme, Creating Results: Interprfessinal Visin t Actin drives an effrt t highlight the practical success factrs and critical intersectin pints between interprfessinal educatin and cllabrative practice thrughut the natin. The student pster sessin is an pprtunity fr students t present data, utcmes, and evidence resulting frm interprfessinal practice and educatin initiatives. The Nexus Summit theme, Creating Results: Interprfessinal Visin t Actin drives an effrt t highlight the practical success factrs and critical intersectin pints between interprfessinal educatin and cllabrative practice thrughut the natin. Student pster presentatins, rganized in 90-minute sessins, will be held during the Nexus Fair n July 30-31, Student presenters are expected t be with their pster during their assigned time t interact with attendees and answer questins. Accepted student submissins will receive special recgnitin in the cnference prgram and ne student pster will be selected fr the Interprfessinal Student Achievement Award, which will be presented during the Awards Celebratin n Tuesday, July 31. All submitting student authrs must cmplete a student verificatin frm as part f their applicatin. Abstracts submitted withut the student verificatin frm will nt be cnsidered. Fellws, residents, pst-dctral students and wrking prfessinals are nt eligible fr student pster submissins but are encuraged t submit fr cnsideratin thrugh the peer review prcess. If a presentatin is selected, audi r vide recrdings may be made f the presentatin. Yur submissin f an abstract cnstitutes yur agreement that recrding can be made and distributed. All crrespndence (primarily thrugh ) will be sent t submitting authrs. Final versins f all accepted presentatin materials (wrkshps, resurce exchange statins, and psters) are expected t be submitted in PDF frmat fr inclusin in the pst-cnference nline resurce archive. Additinally, peer-reviewed wrkshps will be reviewed fr Jintly Accredited Interprfessinal Cntinuing Educatin Credit. Therefre, presenters will be asked t identify any ptential cnflict f interest related t the cntent t be ffered (e.g., cmmercial interest, affiliatin with a vendr, and/r receipt f ryalties) and affirm that their abstract presentatins will nt be used t sell a particular prduct r service. Wrkshp presentatins will be required t be submitted n less than tw weeks prir t the Nexus Summit Submissin Prcess All abstract submissins will be cmpleted nline. The submissin site will guide the applicant thrugh the prcess. Abstracts are frmatted autmatically. Applicants may access the site as ften as they like t mdify the dcument until they fficially submit the abstract, n r befre the final submissin deadline. Applicants will be ntified f submissin status immediately after an abstract is submitted.
