2 PLEASE REVIEW THE INFORMATION BELOW PRIOR TO SUBMITTING YOUR ABSTRACT ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CRITERIA There is NO abstract submissin fee There are tw categries f abstracts: Research: these are reprts f riginal research. Experience Sharing: these are reprts fcusing n current issues r new develpments in nutritin r dietetics (e.g., the prcess used t develp a new prgram r prduce a valid research instrument) Abstracts may be submitted in English r French. If a student finalist is unable t present, either rally r via pster, his/her Advisr/Preceptr will be invited t present n that student's behalf. 3 ABSTRACT WRITING GUIDE AND FORMAT INSTRUCTIONS Please submit yur abstract nly ONCE. Yu may make revisins t yur submissin until April 9, 2018 at 11:59 EST. Presenting Authr This field requires the full name, credentials, prfessinal title and shrt bigraphy f the presenting Authr/Preceptr. If the abstract is selected fr presentatin, the text as written here will be appended t the abstract and displayed n the Cnference mbile App. (Fr students if yu r yur preceptr will nt attend the cnference, enter N/A). Tables are nt allwed. The maximum fr this field is 300 wrds. Reviewers base their decisins n whether t accept an abstract slely n the written infrmatin submitted. Chances f having an abstract accepted are increased by the applicatin f a clearly written, precise, infrmative abstract. If accepted, yur abstract becmes the permanent published recrd f yur wrk. Cnsider the fllwing when writing the abstract: Des the abstract describe a research study r experience-sharing prject that wuld be f interest t a wide variety f DC Members? Is the study r prject advancing research and practice by describing new findings, r the develpment f an innvative prgram r new educatinal materials? Is it evident that yur prject has been cmpleted?

Abstracts presented at the cnference will be psted t the CFDR website. CFDR wns the cpyright fr all materials included n its website. All authrs are required t assign cpyright f their published materials t CFDR. Assigning cpyright t CFDR des nt mean yu cannt submit a full manuscript with similar cntent elsewhere. By assigning cpyright yu are prviding CFDR with the right t publish yur wrks n the CFDR website and anywhere else we might chse t publish and display it, including in electrnic databases that have access t the CFDR website. 12. C-Authrs' Review and Ntificatin After selecting the submit buttn, yu may add the names f C-Authrs and their addresses. This allws each C-Authr t receive a system ntificatin f submissin. The system ntificatin will include yur cntact infrmatin and their lgin infrmatin. All C-Authrs have Read nly access t the entire submissin, unless yu assign a C- Authr t be a presenter. Presenters have Read and Write access.
