1 ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME Internatinal Credit Mbility KEY ACTION 1 - Learning mbility f Individuals between prgramme and partner cuntry Open call fr applicatins fr individual mbility f (nn) teaching staff fr the purpse f teaching r training within the Erasmus+ prject N HR01- KA Within the ERASMUS HR01-KA referring t cperatin with higher educatin institutin in the partner cuntres: Australia, Thailand and Ukraine, University Nrth, HR VARAZDI02, with the fficial seat in Kprivnica, Cratia, Trg dr. Žarka Dlinara 1, (further in the text: University Nrth, UNIN), annunces the call fr applicatins fr awarding financial supprts t individual incming and utging teaching staff mbilities, which bjective is teaching r traning at a selected partner higher educatin institutin (further in the text: HEI) in a partner cuntry. All incming and utging activities supprted within this call are crdinated and administered by the University Nrth. Teaching activity supprts teaching staff t teach at a selected partner HEI in a specific academic discipline. Training activity supprts prfessinal develpment f HEI teaching and nn-teaching staff in the frm f scientific wrk r training events abrad (excluding cnferences). The verall bjective f individual mbilities t be realized within this prject call is intensificatin f internatinal cperatin, develpment f institutinal capacities fr internatinal mbility, internatinalizatin f curriculum, strengthening f scial dimensin in internatinal exchanges, strengthening f internatinal partner netwrk, and develpment f prfessinal scientific and teaching skills with sustainable impact n lng-term cperatin activities. Financial supprts are awarded t teaching and nn-teaching staff members f the University Nrth and t teaching and nn-teaching staff members f the partner universities as fllws: Australia RMIT University Charles Darwin University Thailand Prince Of Sngkla University Ukraine Odessa State Academy Of Civil Engineering And Architecture Individual staff mbilities are t be realized accrding t the Mbility Flw Plan specified in the Appendix 1. Within this call, applicants can submit ne applicatin fr ne mbility activity.

2 Teaching and nn-teaching staff members have t be emplyed by the sending HEI thrughut the whle prcess f applicatin and realizatin f mbility. Eligible perid fr realizatin f mbility apprved within this call is: t 31 July 2020 Within this prject call, staff can spend a teaching r training perid abrad with financial supprt, in duratin specified in the Mbility Flw Plan. Lnger stays are pssible nly withut financial supprt. The grant fr staff will prvide funding fr maximum tw additinal days f travel (ne befre and ne after the mbility). Once started, the mbility activity cannt be interrupted. The referential amunts awarded as a mbility grant t each selected participant are cnsisting f daily allwance (per diem) and travel cst calculated by the tl EC Distance Calculatr defined accrding t distance band frm the place f fficial seat f the sending university t the place f fficial seat f the receiving university. Overview f referential amunts and travel csts is available in the sectin REALIZATION OF INCOMING AND OUTGOING MOBILITY. Signed Erasmus+ interinstitutinal agreement between prgramme and partner cuntries is a precnditin fr individual staff mbility realizatin between UNIN and partner HEI. In this interinstitutinal agreement, the sending and receiving institutins agree n the ptins fr staff mbility and, if applicable, fr student mbility. By signing the inter-institutinal agreement, Partner Cuntry HEI agrees t cmply with all principles and rules f the Erasmus+ prgramme. The Erasmus+ inter-institutinal agreement has t be in frce befre the beginning f each mbility perid. Within the applicatin prcess, all applicants need t prepare a Mbility agreement fr teaching if applying fr the teaching activity, r Mbility agreement fr training if applying fr the training activity. Relevant Mbility agreement dcument needs t be apprved / signed by the receiving HEI befre the applicatin t this call. Prpsed mbility agreement needs t be in line with specific mbility flw and crrespnding subject area (as stated in the Mbility Flw Plan). Prpsed mbility agreements will be evaluated by the UNIN Cmmittee fr Erasmus+ mbility prgramme. If apprved fr funding, changes in mbility agreements will nt be allwed, hwever, it will be pssible t change the dates f mbility realizatin withut prir apprval. If changes t the apprved Mbility agreements will ccur with respect t realizatin f apprved activities and bjectives, each participant needs t reprt the changes t the UNIN Cmmittee fr Erasmus+ mbility prgramme fr apprval. Extensin f mbility will be pssible nly if additinal financial means will be prvided, r in the zer-grant status, if additinal financial means will nt be available. Staff with disabilities r special needs selected fr Erasmus+ mbility within this call is entitled t apply fr additinal financial supprt. Staff with disabilities r special needs is a categry f staff, whse physical, mental r health cnditins presuppse participatin in mbility activity with increased csts f living r travelling. Additinal financial supprt is awarded by the Agency fr Mbility and EU Prgrammes Zagreb, Cratia, n a basis f separate applicatin frm, which will be cmmunicated t selected staff with disabilities r special needs after the cmpletin f the selectin prcess.

3 APPLICATION PROCEDURE Applicatin prcedure is annunced at the web page f the University Nrth: htpp//: APPLICATION DOCUMENTS: 1. Applicatin frm 2. Prf f citizenship (cpy f passprt, ID card, r certificate f natinality) All applicatin dcuments shall be typed (nt hand-written). All applicatin dcuments shall be prepared in English language. By submitting the applicatin t this call, all applicants agree that the University Nrth publishes their persnal data n the web page within the selectin prcedures and further uses their persnal data within the administratin prcedures and reprting. Curriculum Vitae shall be prepared in the Eurpass frm accrding t instructins and templates available at Knwledge f freign languages reprted in the CV shall be based n the self-assessment with reference t the Cmmn Eurpean Framewrk f Reference fr Languages: Cmplete applicatin shall be scanned / cnverted int ne pdf dcument and sent electrnically t the address: internatinal@unin.hr until the deadline fr applicatin: APPLICATION DEADLINE: APPLICATION DEADLINE is nt fixed. APPLICATION PERIOD is pen until all available mbility places are reserved. Applicatins will be assessed individually by the University Nrth Cimmittee fr Erasmus+ Mbility Prgram, and decisin abut each applicatin will be cmmunicated in writing (by ) t each applicant. Incmplete applicatins will nt be accepted fr assessment by the University Nrth Cmmittee fr Erasmus+ Mbility Prgram. SELECTION PROCEDURE All applicatins will be checked fr frmal eligibility criteria. All frmally eligible applicatins will be evaluated by the University Nrth Cmmittee fr Erasmus+ mbility prgramme. The Cmmittee fr Erasmus+ mbility prgramme applies all rules determined by the Eurpean Cmmissin fr the Erasmus+ prgramme and by the Cratian Natinal Agency. The main evaluatin criteria are the fllwing:

4 Quality (academic excellence) f prpsed Mbility Agreement fr Teaching r Mbility Agreement fr Training, Mbility utcmes at persnal and institutinal level, Sustainability f cperatin, Disseminatin f mbility results, Knwledge f English language (r ther freign language that will be the main language f cmmunicatin within the mbility) The Cmmittee fr Erasmus+ mbility prgramme will publish the selectin results at the web page f the University Nrth and will infrm all applicants abut the selectin results by crrespndence. Applicants, whse mbility prpsals will be refused fr realizatin, shall be infrmed in writing abut the reasns fr refusal. Number f applicants / participants that will be awarded financial supprt within this call fr realizatin f mbility is determined by the Cratian Natinal Agency, and presented in the Mbility Flw Plan. Financial supprt will be awarded t the best-rated applicatins. All ther psitively evaluated applicatins will be apprved fr realizatin withut financial supprt (s called zer-grant staff). In the status f zer grant staff, all applicants will have t fllw / cmply with all the rules / regulatins set by the Erasmus+ prgramme, Cratian Natinal Agency and the University Nrth as crdinating HEI. All applicants can request an insight int the evaluatin prcedure and selectin criteria within 8 days after public annuncement f the selectin results. All applicants have a right t file a cmplaint against the selectin results within 8 days after public annuncement f the selectin results. Cmplaints shall be submitted t the Cmmittee fr Erasmus+ mbility prgramme (address: University Nrth, Trg dr. Žarka Dlinara 1, HR Kprivnica, Cratia). Cmplaints have t be prepared in writing in frm f a letter, and submitted as.pdf dcument t the internatinal@unin.hr. Applicants filing a cmplaint will receive a reply by the Cmmittee fr Erasmus+ mbility prgramme within 14 days after cmplaint receipt. REALIZATION OF INCOMING AND OUTGOING MOBILITY Rules and regulatins fr awarding the financial supprt and fr realizatin f mbility will be defined in a separate cntract that each participant will sign with the University Nrth as crdinating HEI. By signing f the cntract each individual participant agrees t bey Cratian laws and regulatins, all valid legal acts f the University Nrth, as well as all regulatins determined by the Erasmus+ prgramme. The Internatinal Relatins Office f the University Nrth is in charge fr the administratin f all incming and utging mbilities. 6 Travel csts apprved exclusively accrding t the distance band calculated by the tl Distance Calculatr: Distance band is determined accrding t the calculatr frm the place registered as the fficial seat f the sending university t the destinatin place registered as fficial seat f the receiving University. Distance calculated by the tl presuppses nward and return travel. In cases when the destinatin place fr mbility realizatin is different frm the fficial place f the receiving university fficial seat, the participant has t submit travel tickets r any ther prf f travel cnfirming the departure place and the arrival place. Financial supprt will be awarded in EUR, hwever, all payments t incming and utging participants will be made in Cratian currency (HRK) by applying the exchange rate: 1.00 EUR = The exchange rate is fixed and bligatry. Realizatin f INCOMING STAFF mbilities frm partner HEIs t the University Nrth Each incming participant is bliged t take care f their travel arrangements, accmmdatin, as well as stay at the hst faculty within the University Nrth. Befre arrival, participants shall btain visa fr entering Cratia (if required). Overview f visa requirements: Participants shall als regulate persnal travel and health insurance plicy that will be valid in Cratia during their stay. General infrmatin abut preparatin f stay in Cratia will be prvided t each participant by the UNIOS IR Office staff. Participants are als advised t regulate their absence frm the wrk place within the fficial travel rder issued by the emplyer. After arrival, within 2 wrking days, each incming participant shall: Reprt the arrival t the nearest Plice Department (if having private accmmdatin) Obtain the Persnal Identificatin Number in Cratia (s called OIB) Activate persnal (nn-residential) bank accunt in any bank in Cratia Regulate persnal health insurance (if nt prepared in the hme cuntry befre arrival) *send r hand-in all abve dcuments t the UNIOS IR ffice staff Financial supprt awarded t each selected participant, as well as all rules and bligatins with respect t agreed mbility will be determined in a CONTRACT that the participant will sign with the University Nrth after arrival t hst faculty, if pssible, within 2 wrking days. Financial supprt, if nt agreed therwise, will be paid t participant s persnal (nn-residential) bank accunt (active in any Cratian bank) in full r in tw instalments (70% during the mbility and 30% after the mbility and after apprval f the final reprt within the system Mbility Tl+, r 100% during the mbility). Mdel f payment will be determined in a cntract. Cash payments are nt allwed. After mbility end, participants will be issued certificate f attendance by the University Nrth. Participants are bliged t submit the nline final reprt in the Mbility Tl+ system and t submit travel dcuments (tickets, barding passes, cpy f visa, etc.) t the Internatinal Relatins Office. Submissin f the final reprt in the Mbility Tl+ is bligatry fr all participants. It is als cnsidered as a request t UNIOS fr payment f the 2nd instalment, if ne is due.

7 Realizatin OUTGOING mbilities frm the University Nrth t partner HEI Each utging participant is bliged t take care f their travel arrangements, accmmdatin, as well as stay at the hst university in a partner cuntry. Befre departure, participants shall btain visa fr entering the partner cuntry (if required) and have t regulate persnal health insurance plicy that will be valid in the partner cuntry during their stay. General infrmatin abut mbility preparatin will be prvided t each participant by the UNIN IR Office. Participants shall regulate their absence frm the UNIN (emplyer) within the fficial travel rder. At least tw weeks befre the mbility start, participants need t sign the cntract fr award f the financial supprt. The data that will be requested by the IR Office fr preparatin f the cntract are: OIB persnal bank accunt active in any bank in Cratia persnal travel and health insurance valid during the entire stay abrad Financial supprt will be paid t participant s persnal bank accunt in tw instalments (70% befre the mbility and 30% after the mbility and after apprval f the final reprt within the system Mbility Tl+). Cash payments are nt allwed. After mbility end, participants are bliged t submit the nline final reprt in the Mbility Tl+ system and t submit cnfirmed mbility dcuments and all travel dcuments (tickets, barding passes, cpy f visa, etc.) t the UNIN Internatinal Relatins Office. Submissin f the final reprt in the Mbility Tl+ is cnsidered as a request t UNIN fr payment f the 2nd instalment. FINAL REMARKS: University Nrth is the crdinating institutin fr the stated prject and it is respnsible fr financial management and verall administratin f all activities t be realized within this call. Partner University will accept the prvisins f the Erasmus+ interinstitutinal agreement if intending t supprt realizatin f mbilities f their staff. Financial supprts are t be used by individual participants nly fr realizatin f mbility activity at the receiving HEI. Individual participants are required t rganize their travel and accmmdatin and t btain visa if necessary. Individual participants are required t regulate the travel and health insurance plicy that must be valid during the mbility perid. UNIN r partner HEI invlved in this prject cannt cver fr any aspect f medical emergencies, damages r any ther cnditins impsed n individual participant while realizing the mbility. All financial supprts t be paid t individual participants shall be regulated accrding t the Cratian law and regulatins in frce at the time f mbility realizatin.
