We are part f Student Services (SS) and ur Careers Centre, (lcated at Fster entrance) is a place where everyne is made t feel welcme. Here students and graduates can drp-in r make an appintment t see ur Careers prfessinals abut any career related querry they may have. This might include thinking abut what t d the ptins are fllwing yur studies, finding wrk experience r lking fr yur ideal future jb. We have a regularly updated Graduate Jbs and Opprtunities Bard with the latest pprtunities and selected take-away leaflets... 3 Undergraduate Research Internship Scheme fr students seeking a summer research pprtunity. Emplyer engagement activities, netwrking pprtunities and events t directly cnnect students and graduates with emplyers, alumni and prfessinals Curse specific, practical careers wrkshps delivered within study prgrammes. Wrking pr-actively alngside academics t assist in delivering careers and emplyability within the curriculum Wh Can Access UCLan Careers? UCLan Careers prvisin is available t ALL full and part-time students f the University f Central Lancashire, including distance learners and HE students at partner clleges. Graduates f UCLan are als welcme t access ur services as lng as this is beneficial*. Students wh prematurely leave the university r are withdrawn frm their curse f study are entitled t a structured careers guidance appintment with a Careers Adviser n exit. This will cver future ptins and ptential next steps. Further, all staff invlved in the delivery f wrkshps and infrmatin, advice and guidance are assessed and mnitred against the relevant careers service and University criteria, Matrix Standards and the AGCAS Cde f Practice. The results are used during supervisin and appraisal and t identify gd practice, training and develpment needs.
