We are cntinually reviewing ur service in rder t respnd t students needs and t ensure that we are always imprving ur service. As a result, ur Statement f Service is reviewed and revised regularly. UCLan Careers: Our Missin and Aims Our Missin Statement underpins everything that we d: We are cmmitted t helping UCLan students and graduates t achieve their individual career gals. Our key aim is t prvide slutin-fcused and practical assistance t ensure that ur students becme cnfident, high-calibre gradates with the skills and abilities t make a success f their future emplyment, learning r ther chices. By ding this we supprt the UCLan strategic aim T create an inspiratinal student experience, enabling peple irrespective f their backgrunds, t fulfil their ptential and meet their life and careers gals. T help us t achieve ur aim, UCLan Careers wrks in partnership with UCLan Cllege and Schl staff, student supprt staff, emplyers, the Students Unin, vluntary rganisatins and ther stakehlders t help students t becme self-mtivated, resilient and self-managed graduates, ideally suited t career psitins within the UK and glbal markets. UCLan Careers: An Overview f Our Prvisin UCLan Careers strives t ffer wide ranging prvisin which is accessible t ur diverse student and graduate ppulatin; this includes nline and face-t-face prvisin, bth frmats affrding pprtunities fr individual careers advice and guidance and participatin in wrkshps and events. We are part f Student Services (SS) and ur Careers Centre, (lcated at Fster entrance) is a place where everyne is made t feel welcme. Here students and graduates can drp-in r make an appintment t see ur Careers prfessinals abut any career related querry they may have. This might include thinking abut what t d the ptins are fllwing yur studies, finding wrk experience r lking fr yur ideal future jb. We have a regularly updated Graduate Jbs and Opprtunities Bard with the latest pprtunities and selected take-away leaflets... We cllect feedback in different ways (including feedback frms, n-line surveys, verbally and fcus grups) and frm all areas f ur wrk. We analyse and discuss this as a team and let students, graduates and staff knw hw we have acted n this feedback. Further, all staff invlved in the delivery f wrkshps and infrmatin, advice and guidance are assessed and mnitred against the relevant careers service and University criteria, Matrix Standards and the AGCAS Cde f Practice. The results are used during supervisin and appraisal and t identify gd practice, training and develpment needs.
