The nline site prvides infrmatin fr reservatins at the media headquarters htel and parking passes. Applying media representatives will be ntified via e mail in regard t the cnfirmatin r denial f their applicatin. DISTRIBUTION Credentials will nt be mailed. Recipients must present a gvernment issued pht ID. A sign in sheet fr individuals t cnfirm receipt f credential will be required. Media shuld be prepared fr security screenings (walk thrugh magnetmeters) and bag checks t enter the building each day. Media representatives desiring accmmdatins at the headquarters

2 htel are advised that the htel requires a fur night minimum stay (Thursday night, March 30 thrugh the night f the natinal champinship game, April 2). LOGISTICS MEDIA SHUTTLE A media shuttle (Shuttle Rute 3) will run frm the Hyatt Regency Dallas Htel t the American Airlines Center frm Thursday, March 30 thrugh Sunday, April 2 during the fllwing hurs: Thursday, March 30: Friday, March 31: Saturday, April 1: Sunday, April 2: 7:45 a.m. 7:00 p.m. 9:30 a.m. 3:00 a.m. 7:45 a.m. 11:00 p.m. 9:30 a.m. 11:00 a.m. MEDIA PARKING Media members must request parking passes thrugh the nline credential system. Parking passes, if requested and apprved, will be prvided at credential distributin. Media parking will be in the Lexus Garage at 2620 N. Hustn Street (crner f Hustn and All Star Way, adjacent t arena). MEDIA ENTRANCE Media shuld fllw the signs lcated utside f American Airlines Center t the media credential entrance lcated n the Nrthwest side f American Airlines Center. Media will enter thrugh Fan Shp (Hangar) entrance n the crner f All Star Way and Victry Avenue. If yu park in the Lexus Garage, walk straight ut f the garage alng All Star Way, past the main entrance t the Fan Shp entrance. MEDIA WORKROOM: A wrkrm in the American Airlines Center will be prvided fr credentialed media with the fllwing hurs f peratin. Nte that all satellite truck units will be respnsible fr prviding their wn pwer. 3 AUDIO/VIDEO DISTRIBUTION The NCAA will prvide news cnference cntent via a pl feed in the audi/vide distributin area in the media wrkrm at American Airlines Center. This feed is available in High Definitin (HD) 1080i with embedded audi. T recrd the feeds, media must prvide a recrding unit t access the live ftage. BNC cnnectins are required fr the HD Mult Bx / Press Bridge. Equipment must be able t accept these types f feeds and utilize thse types f cables r adapters t recrd news cnferences. Statins and netwrks bradcasting in 720p will be respnsible fr crss cnverting frm 1080i t 720p. Nte that SD feeds are n lnger available in the audi/vide distributin area. FTP DELIVERY All Wmen s Final Fur news cnferences will als be available n an FTP site. The files will be in 1080i and will be made available as sn as pssible after each news cnference cncludes. NOTE: As was the case in previus years, the first methd is preferred as it uses an actual prgram designed fr FTP dwnlad. Mst f these are free and readily accessible n the internet. The secnd methd (Web Brwser) can be accessed via Chrme, Internet Explrer, Firefx, Safari, etc. When yu put in the inf, yu'll be taken t a prmpt fr a Username / Passwrd. 4 SERVICES Runners will distribute play by play, halftime and final bx scres t all media seating lcatins and in the media wrkrm. Typed qutes will be distributed t the media immediately fllwing each news cnference. Updated team ntes (e.g., team ntes, turnament ntes/recrds) will als be distributed t the media preceding the next scheduled news cnference. Media are asked t prvide their e mail address fr pstgame services requests n a sign up list that is psted in the media wrkrm. ACCESS INFORMATION LOCKER ROOMS: Game Days The lcker rms will be pen t the media fr a maximum f 30 minutes after the cling ff perid ends. Practice Days Student athletes wh are nt in the interview rm, shall be available t the media in the lcker rm area during the time the cach and selected student athletes are participating in the news cnference.
