3 WORK AND TRAVEL PROGRAM CENET placement services are ptinal. The wrk and travel placement fee is $300. Yur use f CENET s placement services indicates yur agreement t prperly screen candidates and t adhere t the terms and cnditins. Submissin Prcess: 1. Visit and discuss the placement ptins with candidates. Please click the psitin number t review all details f the pening. 2. If a candidate is interested in a specific CENET placement: a. Cnfirm that the candidate meets all requirements as listed in the jb details (e.g., start date, end date, level f English). b. ALL f the fllwing t placement@culturalexchangenetwrk.rg: i. CV must be typed and must cntain academic infrmatin including the expected mnth/year f graduatin; wrk experience including the mnth/year and specific duties/respnsibilities; level f English; date f birth; pht ii. Available start date and end date (please cnfirm specific dates with candidates emplyers make decisins based upn definite availability!) iii. Jb number f desired psitin(s) iv. Cnfirmatin f this placement plicy Candidates will nt be eligible fr placement unless all f the abve is received. A CENET representative will cntact yu regarding missing infrmatin r t clarify any necessary details. 1

4 Placement Prcedures: CENET will review the CV and make an initial determinatin f acceptability fr the desired psitin. If acceptable, CENET will frward the CV t the requested emplyer. The emplyer will review the CV and prvide feedback t CENET regarding their interest in the candidate. CENET will ntify yu if the emplyer is nt interested, and the candidate may request a different placement, if desired. CENET will cntact up t three emplyers fr placement; hwever, nly ne ffer will be made per participant. Participants are nt charged a fee if a requested emplyer is nt interested. If the emplyer is interested in the candidate, the emplyer may require a phne r Skype interview. A CENET representative will ntify yu f the interview schedule by . Yu are required t ntify the candidate f the schedule, and then t cnfirm the interview with CENET by the deadline indicated in the interview request . Sme emplyers may request mre than ne interview. Participants are nt charged a fee if a requested emplyer is nt interested in the candidate after the interview. If a candidate rejects an interview request r fails t participate in a scheduled interview, yu must ntify CENET immediately. N further placement effrts will be made fr the candidate, and yu will be inviced a $100 penalty fee. CENET will make tw attempts t cntact yu abut a requested interview. If yu d nt respnd t an interview request, yu will be inviced a $100 penalty fee. If the emplyer wishes t hire the candidate, yu will be ntified by . Yu MUST submit the participant s full nline applicatin, which includes required dcuments, AND the applicatin ID number t placement@culturalexchangenetwrk.rg within 3 days f jb cnfirmatin. Failure t d s will result in jb and prgram cancelatin and a $100 penalty fee. The jb ffer frm will be prvided upn receipt f applicatin and cnfirmatin. If a candidate rejects a jb after it is cnfirmed, yu must ntify CENET immediately. N further placement effrts will be made fr the candidate, and yu will be inviced a $100 penalty fee. Yu are required t ntify the CENET representative f the participant s visa interview date nce cnfirmed, as well as t immediately ntify CENET f the visa decisin after the interview. Yu are required t ntify the CENET representative f the participant s travel schedule nce cnfirmed. Cmplete arrival infrmatin (e.g., flight/bus/train schedules) shuld be submitted at least ne week prir t arrival in the United States. Participants MUST arrive within 2 days f the start date prvided t CENET at the time f CV submissin. Failure t cmply with this requirement will result in prgram cancellatin. 2

7 General Terms and Cnditins Placement is nt guaranteed. Placement in grups is nt guaranteed. Emplyers cnsider available dates when selecting candidates fr psitins. Any changes in the start r end dates after the psitin is cnfirmed may result in lss f psitin. If a participant is dissatisfied with the emplyer, he r she must submit a written recrd f the cmplaint in rder fr CENET t prvide assistance. If a participant leaves his/her psitin withut filing a written cmplaint and withut CENET apprval, the participant will be terminated. If the riginal ffer cannt be hnred by the hst cmpany, CENET will assist in finding ne new placement. CENET is nt respnsible fr any living expenses r travel expenses the participant incurs while searching fr a new psitin. Reasnable effrts will be made t lcate an alternative placement in the same city, but it cannt be guaranteed. The participant shuld als be encuraged t search fr a psitin independently. CENET will nt assist in finding a new psitin if the participant is released frm his r her psitin due t pr perfrmance, pr attitude, excessive tardiness, r repeated absences. RESTRICTIONS Failure t abide by CENET s plicies can result in revcatin f placement privileges. If yu cnsistently fail t fllw the resume submissin prcess r if yu incur 3 penalty fees, CENET will restrict yur ability t use CENET placement services. If yu have nt paid r made arrangements t pay a penalty fee, CENET reserves the right t restrict yu frm submitting all prgram applicatins, including self-placed, until the fee is paid. PLACEMENT REFUND POLICY CENET must be ntified immediately if the participant withdraws frm the prgram. After CENET placement has been secured and payment received, CENET will nly issue a placement refund if the emplyer cancels the psitin and an alternative ffer cannt be prvided. In the case f a visa denial, a wrk and travel participant will receive a $200 placement refund and a trainee/intern participant will receive a $400 placement refund. If the participant is released frm his r her psitin due t pr perfrmance, pr attitude, excessive tardiness, r repeated absences, n refund will be prvided.
