This infrmatin may include details such as yur name, Unique Student Identifier, date f birth, cntact details, training utcmes and perfrmance, r sensitive persnal infrmatin. The infrmatin may be used fr any purpse relating t the exercise f their gvernment functins, including but nt limited t the evaluatin and assessment f yur training, the determinatin f yur eligibility t receive subsidised training r fr any Fee Exemptin r Cncessins. And yur Persnal Infrmatin may als be disclsed t ther third parties if required by law. 2. Eligibility Check Yu must be able t prvide evidence t supprt eligibility fr Smart and Skilled. ICCC will prvide yu with a list f acceptable frms f evidence. Yu will then be asked t fill in the Prf f Eligibility Check Frm, prvide the evidence and sign the dcument. 3. Enrlment Frm As yu are enrlling int a Natinally Recgnised Qualificatin, yu are required t fill in an Enrlment frm which cllects infrmatin n wh yu are, what yu have previusly studied, etc. 4. Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Every learner enrlled int any qualificatin with ICCC is required t cmplete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment. By cmpleting this assessment ur Trainers and Assessrs can determine whether yu require any additinal supprt t assist yu thrugh yur training and assessment. 5. Unique Student Identifier Privacy Ntice A USI is a reference number made up f numbers and letters. It creates a secure nline recrd f yur natinally recgnised training that yu can access anytime and anywhere, and it s yurs fr life. The USI is linked t the Natinal Vcatinal Educatin and Training (VET) Data Cllectin, and this means an individual s natinally recgnised training and qualificatins gained anywhere in Australia, frm different training rganisatins, will be kept altgether. The USI will: link yur VET achievements, regardless f where yu cmpleted the curse in Australia gives yu mre cntrl ver yur VET infrmatin NB: Please nte yu can apply fr a USI yurself at Please insert the USI number n ICCC s Enrlment Frm (within this dcument) 6. Subcntractr Infrmatin Please carefully read the infrmatin in relatin t delivery f units f cmpetencies by sub-cntractrs. 7. Pre-Enrlment Declaratin This is a declaratin that yu have been prvided t access t ICCC s and relevant Smart and Skilled Plicies and any additinal infrmatin pertaining t yur training and assessment. 8. 10 NSW Smart and Skilled Enrlment Pack WHS REQUIREMENTS Internatinal Child Care Cllege is cmmitted t prviding and maintaining a safe and healthy envirnment fr the benefit f all clients, visitrs and emplyees. Internatinal Child Care Cllege mnitrs and maintains the apprpriate Wrkplace Health and Safety levels and bligatins under the Federal and State rules and regulatins f the NSW Wrkplace Health and Safety Act. In cnsideratin f all Internatinal Child Care Cllege clients and students it is imprtant that adherence t all legislative acts and regulatins are bserved while undertaking training. If students have any cncerns r ntice a cnditin r practice that seems unsafe, it is imprtant it is brught t the attentin f the Cllege. ACCESS AND EQUITY Internatinal Child Care Cllege is cmmitted t access and equity principles and prcesses in the delivery f its services and wrking envirnment in accrdance with Sex Discriminatin act 1984, Human Rights and Equal Opprtunity Act 1986, Racial Discriminatin Act , NSW Anti- Discriminatin Act and Disability Discriminatin Act In the event f a situatin that is cnsidered by clients t be in vilatin f Internatinal Child Care Cllege Access & Equity Plicy, students and clients are required t reprt the situatin t the Training Manager. STUDENT FEES 1. The Student Fee must be paid in full at the cmpletin f the qualificatin. 2. A student is deemed t be enrlled when the student receives a Cnfirmatin f Enrlment. 3. Shuld the student cntracted training perid expire but wish t cmplete the curse, the student is required t renew their enrlment. A fee is charged which includes an administratin cmpnent and a fee per cmpetency cmpnent. 4. Shuld the student require additinal time t cmplete their studies past the agreed training perid, the student will need t apply fr an extensin and will be required t pay an additinal fee. PAYMENT OF STUDENT FEES 5. Students may elect t pay curse fees by electrnic funds transfer, cheque, mney rder r credit card. 6. Failure t pay fees at the scheduled time may result in legal actin. 7. Transcripts and Certificates will nt be issued n cmpletin f studies until all utstanding fees have been. 8. The Student Fee is nn-refundable. REFUND OF STUDENT FEES 9. Where a student has paid fees but fails t make prgress with studies, the Cllege will fllw prcedures t alert students that they are at risk f nt cmpleting the curse within the cntracted training perid. In the event that the student fails t cmplete the curse n schedule, n refund f fees will be given. ICCC reserves the right t amend the current fee plicy by giving 28 days written ntice t enrlled students 10

11 COMPLETION OF STUDENT ASSESSMENT NSW Smart and Skilled Enrlment Pack Students are required t be actively wrking twards a qualificatin utcme and must submit all tasks n r near the prescribed due dates. Students wh are cntinually falling behind in the submissin f tasks will be sent an At Risk letter. If tasks remain late students risk terminatin f cntract. All final tasks need t be submitted tw weeks prir t the end f cntracted date t allw students the ptin f resubmitting tasks if they are fund t be Incmplete r Nt Yet Cmpetent. Any resubmitted tasks sent t the Cllege after the cntracted end date will nt be marked and a Statement f Attainment will be issued fr cmpleted units nly. HARASSMENT, VICTIMISATION AND BULLYING Internatinal Child Care Cllege des nt tlerate any harassment, victimisatin, bullying r any such cnduct that has the purpse r effect f interfering with an individual s wrk perfrmance r creating an intimidating, hstile, r an ffensive learning envirnment. This includes harassment, victimisatin, bullying because f sex, race, natinal rigin, religin, disability, sexuality r age. Harassment is unlawful under Cmmnwealth and State legislatin and all harassment, bullying and victimisatin are cntrary t the duty f care t prvide a safe envirnment fr wrk and learning. In the event f a situatin that is cnsidered by clients t be in vilatin f Internatinal Child Care Cllege s harassment, victimisatin and bullying plicy reprt the situatin t the Training Manager. COMPLAINTS AND GREIVEANCES Internatinal Child Care Cllege recgnises that differences and grievances can arise frm time t time. The quick settlement f these matters is in the best interest f all parties cncerned and the fllwing steps are implemented t ensure this happens. 1. Tell us if yu are dissatisfied r have any cncerns abut ur prducts, services, prcesses r plicies. 2. Tell us if yu think yu have been treated unfairly r unjustly. 3. We will discuss the matter with yu and try t reslve the prblem 4. If yu are nt satisfied with the reslutin we will refer the matter t an independent mediatr. 5. If all parties cannt reach a satisfactry slutin yu have the right t seek representatin and appeal under the relevant State r Federal Law. SUBCONTRACTING AND PARTNERSHIP ARRANGEMENTS (REFER APPENDIX 1 & 2) Internatinal Child Care Cllege has apprved subcntracting arrangements in place t supprt the facilitatin f required training and assessment. Regardless f the apprved subcntracting arrangement, ICCC, as the lead RTO in each subcntracting agreement, is respnsible fr ensuring: 1. Quality Assurance systems against the VET Quality Framewrk including quality recrd keeping and archive systems 2. Develping and issuing the Training Plan 3. Mnitring f subcntractr perfrmance including the trainers and assessrs f the partner rganisatin and the quality f the training and assessment 4. Mnitring f student perfrmance under subcntracted training and assessment 5. Management f student data including applicatin f credit transfer 6. Reprting f student activity including: a. Unique Student Identifiers (USI) b. Training milestnes c. Activity Data and Quality Indicatrs 7. Investigating and managing any cmplaints made arund subcntracted training r assessment 8. Administering student fees 9. Issuing Certificates, Qualificatins and Statements f Attainment 11
