2 Endrsed n Feb 27, 2016, SOM1, Lima, Peru WORKPLAN FOR 2016 APEC HEALTH WORKING GROUP In 2016, the Health Wrking Grup (HWG) will cntinue t implement the mandates related t health addressed in the 2015 Leaders Declaratin, t implement recmmendatins areas in the jint statement f the Fifth High Level Meeting n Health and the Ecnmy (HLM5), the key areas f the Healthy Asia-Pacific 2020 Initiative, and the bjectives f the HWG Strategic Plan Additinal cnsideratin will be given t the SCE pririties and ABC recmmendatins. Fr the year 2016, APEC theme and pririties adpted by the Peru, shuld be reflected n the planned HWG and crss-fra activities. Theme: Quality Grwth and Human Develpment. Pririties: 1) advancing reginal ecnmic integratin and quality grwth; 2) enhancing the reginal fd market; 3) twards the mdernizatin f micr, small and mediumsize enterprises in the Asia-Pacific and 4) develping human capital.
