2 Mission & Impact Statements Mission Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Our ministry was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent place to live in dignity and safety. Background Since 1992, Habitat has been motivated by God's grace to build decent homes and communities in Montgomery County. Habitat partners with qualified low-income applicants who invest sweat equity into building simple, decent and affordable housing to achieve homeownership through a twenty-year, zero-interest mortgage. Habitat collaborates with faith, civic, and business organizations who envision neighborhood revitalization through new home construction. Impact In 2015 we dedicated 3 homes and started building 2 which will be finished in late We are looking for new homeowners for 2016 and always need house sponsors! We plan to start offering Financial Peace University to our homeowners and the public in 2016! Needs New home construction sponsorships totaling $100,000(4) qualified low-income homeowner applicants$40,000 worth of in-kind services and materialsbuilding material, appliance and furniture donations to Habitat ReStore Other ways to donate, support, or volunteer Donations are always accepted at our ReStore (408 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040) or can be mailed to our affiliate offices. 3 CEO Statement Habitat for Humanity is a lifetime committment to homeownership, community stability and neighborhood revitalization. Habitat for Humanity homeowner invest hours of sweat equity to build their home and Habitat in the community. Habitat home mortgages are re-invested into the Fund for Humanity and continue to build new homes. Habitat operates a ReStore, selling donated items to the community and returning the profits to the Affiliate and new homes. 3

4 Programs Programs New Home Construction Description Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County building new home construction in partnership with qualified low-income families. Habitat families participate in homeowner and financial education courses to prepare them for homeownership. Habitat also operates a ReStore, a recycled building materials, appliances and furniture thrift store. ReStore Description Habitat for Humanity operates a ReStore, a recycled building material, appliance and furniture thrift retail outlet. All items are donated from business, military, faith, and private individuals and then resold to the general public. Profits return to new home construction and Affiliate operations. The ReStore utilizes volunteers each month to support its 4 paid full time staff. Budget Population Served Adults,, Family Services Description Family Services is overseen by a Committee chair and its members who provide homeowner education seminars to homeowners in 'sweat equity' status. Homeowners learn about financial and legal obligations to homeownership, maintenance, community development and relationships, taxes and insurance, and general purpose homeowner information. Budget 0 Population Served,, CEO Comments We are always in need of community volunteers who have a passion and heart for Habitat's mission. We need people to help with out Family Services and Support programs. Once our partner families are accepted into our homeowner program, they are assigned a mentor. These mentors, who are volunteer members of our Family Support Committee, are dedicated individuals with a passion to help others succeed. They work with our partner families to guide them through the program, cheer them on to meet the deadlines and requirements and celebrate with them when they receive the keys after purchasing their new Habitat home. In 2016 we plan to hold a volunteer drive to bring in new volunteers that want to help give our partner families a hand-up, not a hand-out! 4

Habitat has a strong 20+ year history in our community with lifelong supporters who have donated time, money and leadership to bring our organization to the success it is today.
