A very large component of this plan is identifying and working with a local or regional recycling company. Sometimes, a company s geographical location imposes some restriction on the level and amount of recycling one can employ. OMC has broken through that barrier with exciting news. Your EH&S Program has establish a cooperative business agreement with a local all waste streams recycling company; Missouri e-waste, of Ozark, MO, who will visit our hospital periodically to pick up every designated waste for recycling, and they will do this for free. Additionally, Missouri e-waste will pay OMC by the pound for each type of recyclable; e-waste (computers, destroyed hard drives, flat screen monitors) will bring a different price as compared to plastic bottles, aluminum or steel cans. Furniture will be paid at a different rate as compared to surgical Blue Wrap or cardboard or medical equipment, such as beds or broken carts. Missouri e-waste is certified and/or registered with; FDA registered for medical equipment/device recycling, Is the only company in Southwest Missouri that is Level 3 certified by the State of Missouri for Asset Recovery, DNR registered (044994), EPA certified (MOR ), e-steward downstream certified, Missouri Voluntary Tiered Registration, Level 2, GSA certified (approved for government contracts), DUNS number, SAM registration, NAICS code. We look forward to a long working relationship with their company and providing a source of recycling revenue to the OMC organization. She was very kind, compassionate, and you can tell that she truly cares about everyone. There was never a time that she was rude, short, or didn t have a smile on her face. I had made a comment that I would feel bad if it was for no reason and she let me know that its better safe than sorry. She let me know that she was going to do what it took to take care of me. Her customer service was awesome! She s excellent.
