For questions or to book a party, call or events@blacksburgcc.com KIDZONE - PARENTS MORNING OUT BCC KidZone is a childcare service offered Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and is perfect for parents who need to run errands, go to the gym, or just relax. KidZone is offered for ages walking to five years old. Parents can choose a one or two day option with prices beginning at $16.00 per day. danielle@blacksburgcc.com for more information. FAMILY FUN DINNER NIGHTS Join us on the fourth Sunday each month for a Family Fun Dinner! Families will enjoy a great buffet, face painting, and themed activities. 3 FALL JUNIOR GOLF JUNIOR GOLF CLINICS (AGES 6+) Tuesday - Thursday, 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., $15 per clinic. Our program provides a chance for young golfers to focus on their game, continue to develop, and enhance their skills during the offseason. Our goal is to provide increased levels of instruction based on a child s age and ability and have children reaching their goals for the upcoming season. Junior golf clinics are open to ages six (6) and older. Children ages five (5) and under are encouraged to participate in SNAG (see below) unless otherwise approved by the professional golf staff. Please call the golf shop at and let us know if you plan to attend. SNAG GOLF (AGES 3-6) Every Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m., $10 per clinic SNAG (Starting New At Golf) contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form. The game has its own simplified rules and terminology that adds fun to the learning and playing experience. Falling somewhere between miniature golf and regulation golf, SNAG allows for full shots, pitching, chipping, and putting. The SNAG ball has a limited distance, with the average player launching it a maximum of 50 yards. Call to sign up. We strive to have classes available for beginners, recreational, and USTA tournament players at BCC. The class guideline allows you to see where your child might fit into the program at our Club. It promotes social skills and important values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as individual self-growth. Also, it s a fun environment for kids to learn that succeeding is really more about how they play the game not win or lose. USTA Junior Team Tennis is designed for kids ages 5-18 at our club. Teams are co-ed consisting of at least four boys and four girls. We have a spring and fall season and compete against other clubs/teams in the New River Valley and Roanoke areas. They are divided by the following age and play levels: Age Groups: U18, U16, U14, U12, U10 and U8 Play Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced 3

4 Halloween Party Friday, October 28 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Call all BCC kids ages 10+. Come out on Friday night for fun with your friends. Wear your Halloween costume and we ll have a themed dinner and watch the classic movie, The Goonies. HalloTween Party Saturday, October 29 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. This year s HallowTween party promises to be the best yet! We ll have dinner, watch the movie Hocus Pocus, haunted house, pumpkin carving, and costume prizes. FREE Halloween Carnival 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Don t miss out on a carnival of fun for all ages, including hayrides and pumpkin hunts. Dress in your best costume and bring your mummies and daddies! Call to sign up. Trunk or Treat Begins at 5:00 p.m. Decorate your golf cart, trunk, or tailgate and come on down for some Trunk or Treating! As the kids trick-or-treat, displays will be judged and there will be prizes for Spookiest and Most Creative. Family Halloween Buffet 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Join us immediately after the Trunk or Treat for dinner in the Clubhouse for Adults, FREE for kids 12 and under. Call , to make reservations. BRUNCH WITH SANTA CLAUS Sunday, December 11, Seatings at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m per adult, 8.95 per child ages 4-12, children 3 and under eat for free.
