1 Osprey Welcome Week 2010 New Student Schedule of Events Wednesday, September 1 Monday, September 6 WELCOME ALL NEW FRESHMEN AND TRANSFER STUDENTS! Welcome Week is designed to ease your transition into college life. Meet student leaders, faculty, staff and administrators who can offer advice and answer your questions. Review your class schedule, and get acquainted with classmates. Attend sessions, ask questions, win prizes and meet new people! This is a great opportunity to hit the ground running! Whether you are a commuter or residential student, we look forward to seeing you at all events! Don t forget to bring your Student ID with you to all events! Passport FAQs What is the Passport and how does it work? The Passport is your schedule to all Welcome Week events on and off campus. In the front of your Passport there is a place to receive stamps. Stamps will be given at the end of designated Passport events. When you have all of your stamps at the end of the week, simply tear out your stamped page, write your name and contact information on it, and turn it in at the Drive In Movie on September 6 th to receive a Stockton fleece stadium blanket. A drawing will take place the following week. Prizes include electronics, bookstore gift cards, Stockton apparel and much more! Where do I get my Passport? You can get your Passport at Residential check in or Commuter Passport Pick-up. Times are listed in this program. Why should I be concerned about getting my Passport stamped? First, get your Passport stamped in order to win great prizes. Second, the Passport events are geared to helping you get accustomed to the Stockton campus. It allows you to meet new people, learn about your surroundings, and prepare you for your first day of classes. What should I do if I lose my Passport? Write your name and other contact information on the Passport. If it is found you will be called via the number you indicated. How will I be notified that I am a Passport winner? Put your contact information on your stamped Passport tear-out sheet, and we will call you. All prizes can be redeemed in the College Center, N-105.
