Our Appreciation to Recent Health Events Volunteers Volunteers are key to the success of many programs and events at the Community Center, as two July health events recently proved. Approximately 350 guests attended the July 16th Summer Health and Wellness Festival, where over 500 units of free screenings and services were provided by medical professionals and agencies and 60 health-related businesses and organizations were represented. On July 30th, the Community Center also hosted its annual dental clinic in partnership with Ayuda International, when 80 community members received free dental screenings and recommended treatments and services. Sincere appreciation is extended to our senior volunteers, some of whom also volunteered for both events, all helping the Center to maintain its reputation for quality programs: Pauline Aguero, Mary Danko, Annelies Fugler, Ellie Honeycutt, Kathy Maher, Pat and Nick Melnik, Lorraine Miller, Leslie Morton, Dave and Gerrry Phillips, Wanda Williams and Carole Wright. Great job, everyone!
