Understand that licensure is separate and distinct from an academic degree or diploma. 14. Know the licensure law for your jurisdiction. 15. Discuss how licensure boards can take public or non-public action, disciplinary or non-disciplinary action against a license. Understand who decides whether or not a license is disciplined and how that decision is made. 16. Describe the implementation process used at HMC and the community collaborative to help reduce readmissions and the interventions involved to improve care. 17. Discuss the implementation of an evidenced based smoking cessation Model and how smoking cessation can improve patient outcomes. 18. Understand the definition of comfort care and the interventions associated with life support withdrawal. 19. Discuss how nutrition can effect the COPD patients quality of life.
