Ltd.Bhandara, has conducted interviews at MIET, Gondia campus for the students of colleges from Nagpur, Bhandara, Umred and Ramtek. In this recruitment drive Mr. Prabhakar Koltewar (GM,HRM), Mr.S.S.Nadagouda (IED & Training), Mr.K.Maithani (DGM, Maint.), Mr.Pramod Nakhale (AGM,Maint.), Mr.A.R.Rokade (AGM,Maint.), Mr.R.Joshi (Maint.), Mr.Samir Patel and Mr. Ashol Choudhary has conducted test and interviews. Ajay Gupta, Ankush Lata, Rounak Wegad from Mechanical Engineering and Vivek Rahangdale from Electronics Engineering were selected. Bangalore Mr.Anil Choudapurkar (Training Head) and Mr. Kishore Kumar of Triveni Turbines Ltd. Banglore has conducted campus interview at MIET,Gondia. In this drive, 659 students from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and Gondwana University have participated. The students were passed through rigorous selection process consisting of online technical and aptitude test, group discussion. Finally, 70 students were selected for personal interviews and 10 students were shortlisted for final round of selection at Triveni Turbines head office, Bangalore. Final interview is scheduled on 26 th Feb In this drive Ajikya Girhe and Abhishek Hande from Mechanical Engineering were selected. Mumbai Special initiative taken by Honourable Shri Praful Patel results in campus recruitment drive of L&T Ltd at MIET, Gondia. In this process, L&T Limited, Mumbai visited and accredited MIET in October Later, on January 2014 a team of L&T personnel including Mr. Anil Marthe(Manager Talent Acquisition, Corporate HR, Personnel), and Mr. Vishal Shankar(Corporate HR, Personnel), Mr.Mangesh Rege(AGM), Mr. Ashish Joshi(DGM), Mr.Vishal Sinha(Manager, Embedded Design and Development Center), Mr. Paleja, Mr. M.T.Rane(Technical Consultant), Mr. Pradik Newalkar(Head, Structural Engineering) has conducted technical test, group discussions and personal interviews of the student., In these interviews Neha Nalamwar and Ankit Girhe from Electronics and Communication Engineering, Nipun Gajbhiye from Civil Engineering were selected.

5 Engineering & Technology Tech Mahindra Ltd, Pune Tech Mahindra, Pune, has conducted pool campus at St. Vincent Palloti College of Engineering, Nagpur, in which 6 students of MIET got selected. The selected students are Shrishendu Sarkar(EC), Rashmi Shahare(CT), Dipika Ghosh(CT), Hitesh Gupta(EE), Prabhjeet Singh Bhatia(CE) and Nikita Deshpande(ME). Selected Students at Tech.Mahindra, Pune Selections at L&T Infotech, IBM India Ltd., Smart Data Enterprise, Zero Point Technologies, Spectrum Planning Services, Quick Heal Technologies Other renowned companies has also selected students of MIET. 7 Engineering & Technology Seminar By Dr. J.P.Modak on Automation Dr.J.P.Modak, Dr. D.K.Pandey, Dr.A.K.Mitra, Dr. Chandrayan and Prof.B.C.Jain A seminar by Dr. J.P.Modak from Priyadarshini College of Engineering,Nagpur was organized on 08/01/14 on Development of Mechatronics Approach for improving operational reliability of low cost automation device.prof. D.K. Pande, Prof B.C.Jain, Prof. A.K.Mitra and Prof. Chandrayan were present on the occasion along with Staff and students of the Mechanical Department. Seminar by Dr. Bhaskar Patel for Mechanical Engineering Students Dr. Bhaskar Patel with Principal Dr.S.S.Rathore, Dr. A.K.Mitra,Prof. B.C.Jain and Dr. Vijay Chourasia A seminar by Dr. Bhaskar Patel was organized on 07/01/14 on Babble and Badlam. Principal Dr. S.S.Rathore presided the occasion along with Prof. B.C.Jain. Prof. S.K.Asati has introduced the speaker and the students of Mechanical Engineering were present in huge number on the occasion.

8 Engineering & Technology Aptitude Development Workshop Prof. Ajay Agrawal Delivering Seminar on Aptitude Development One Day workshop on Aptitude Development was organized by T&P department on 11/01/14 for the students of final year and third year. The expert talk was delivered by Prof. Ajay Agrawal (SRCOEM, Nagpur). All kind of questions were focused. Mock Interviews by team of Adani Maharashtra Power Ltd. of eligible students for L&T Ltd campus Mock interviews was conducted by Dr.Vijay Gandhewar, DGM, Technology Training and Bhaskarprasad Yerrapothu on 18/01/2014. These interviews were scheduled for shortlisted students in the Campus Recruitment Drive of Triveni Turbines and L & T Ltd. The experts Dr. P.M.Bapat and Dr. R.L.Shrivastava were present for the evaluation work. Progress Seminar of PhD/ME Research Scholars Research Progress Seminar for PhD and ME by research was conducted during 07/-1/14 to 11/01/14. Eminent professors Dr..J.P.Modak,(PCE,Nagpur) Dr. Bhaskar Patel(Principal, KITS,Ramtek), Dr. Valsson Varghese(KDKCOE,Nagpur), Dr. P.K.Ghosh(Principal Yugandhar Institute of Technology, Rajnandgaon), were invited as an expert for seminar.
