1 WORKSHOPS AND TECHNICAL EVENTS Session DigiQuest-2017 Competition held under IEEE banner at GHRAET, Nagpur The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, G. H. Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur had organized the DigiQuest-2017 a technical quiz competition for B.E. 3 rd, 5 th & 7 th Sem. (C.S.E) students on 16 th September The event was organised by the IEEE student members under the valuable guidance of Principal, Dr. Vivek Kapur, H.O.D. of Computer Science & Engineering Dr. Sonali Bodkhe and IEEE Student branch counsellor Prof. Amit Pimpalkar. On the occasion of this event three levels of competitions were proposed viz, Google Search, Logo Quiz and Crack the Code. As many 45 students have participated in those events in the group of 3 students. All IEEE committee members, especially Mr. Shivam Singh, Branch Chair, Ms M. Tibhavi Reddy, Treasurer, Mr. Maheet Paliwal, Ms. Renua Tekam, Mr. Shashank Singh took excruciating efforts to make this event successful & memorable. On this instance Prof. Amit Pimpalkar enlighten students with the few words on IEEE membership and benefits of having student branch and student chapter of IEEE.

2 Internship Seminar by CSE Dept. of GHRAET, Nagpur The Department of Computer Science & Engineering of G.H.Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur had organized Internship Seminar for students of final year B.E. recently. The expert was Ms. Hemlata Jawanjalfrom IT-NetworkZ Pvt Ltd, Nagpur who has 10 years work experience in industry. She evaluated the presentation of students about summer internships& gave valuable suggestions. The students completed their summer internships in some of the reputed organizations like Mahindra & Mahindra, Vishwashantiudyog, Palliwaludyog, Jigyasa research centre to name a few. Students were immensely benefited by the knowledge and experience gained in the industry. The seminar was conducted successfully under the guidance of Principal, Dr. S. L. Haridas, Prof. Sonali Bodkhe HOD CSE and all staff members of computer science & engineering department.

3 Skill Development Program on PHP Department of Computer Science & Engineering, GHRAET started Skill Development Program on PHP on under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay Haridas, Principal, GHRAET, Nagpur. This workshop was conducted under students IEEE Chapter and CSI Chapter for the skill improvement of Students from final & Pre final year Computer Science & Engineering Department. Total 26 students took the benefit of this opportunity and registered for this 40 hours long program. The idea of program is proposed by Prof. Sonali Bodkhe, HOD CSE Department and is executed with the inspiration from Dr. Pankaj Agrawal, HOD E&C Dept. & Vice Principal, GHRAET, Nagpur. This SDP conducted 2 hours daily for 20 days which delivered by Experts Professionals from SSIT, Nagpur. Whole Program monitored by Prof. Amit Pimpalkar, CSE Department.

4 Skill Development Program on Android and IoT Department of Computer Science & Engineering, GHRAET started Skill Development Program on Android and IoT on under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay Haridas, Principal, GHRAET, Nagpur. This workshop was conducted under students IEEE Chapter and CSI Chapter for the skill improvement of Students from final & Pre final year Computer Science & Engineering Department. Total 26 students took the benefit of this opportunity and registered for this 50 hours long program. 5 Hands on session on Networking by Mr. Raj Arora at GHRAET, Nagpur Department of Computer Science & Engineering, GHRAET Nagpur had recently organized hands on session on Computer Networking. As being the current trends in IT industries it is a very important area of study. Students from 5 th and 7 th Semester B.E. actively attended the session. Mr. Raj Arora, an expert from Revat Network Academy, Nagpur enlightened the various topic like operation and necessity of Networking, live Configuration of the LAN and WAN on simulation. He also demonstrates how TCP/IP and UDP protocols are worked in actual. Students too interacted in high spirit with the speaker. Prof. Amit Pimpalkar took efforts to coordinate the seminar, under the guidance of Prof. Sonali Bodkhe, HoD CSE Department & Dr. Sanjay Haridas, Principal GHRAET. Mr. Raj Arora, an expert from Revat Network Academy interacting with CSE Students

6 Barcode Generator Software by students of CSE Dept. of GHRAET, Nagpur Students of Computer Science & Engineering department from G. H. Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur have developed an application framework for generation of input based barcode model at Mahindra Rise, Nagpur. This software generates barcode based on month of manufacture, model and serial number of product. Some login credentials are also provided for security purpose as well as special care has been taken to ensure that the data which is passing between the database and the program do not suffer from SQL injection strike. The student team comprising of Shashank Singh, Ashutosh Paliwal, Rahul Gour & Shivam Singh, developed this application under the guidance of Prof. Dhanashree Rajderkar. This project was possible due to the support & guidance of Dr. Jaiprakash Paliwal, Dean T&P, Dr. Sanjay Haridas Principal GHRAET, Prof. Sonali Bodkhe HOD CSE & Prof. Vikrant Chole T&P Coordinator CSE.

7 Live Project by students of CSE Dept. of GHRAET, Nagpur The students of Computer Science & Engineering department of G. H. Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur had successfully completed live project at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, hingna road, Nagpur. The student team comprising of Rahul Gour, Shivam Singh, Shashank Singh & Ashutosh Paliwal, developed the standalone application that would monitor the change in voltage given to a system and print barcode of the time & date of system when the voltage exceeded more than a given threshold value. The application was written in Java programming language. Mr. Giridhar Gopal Kilambi, Deputy Manager, at Mahindra & Mahindra, appreciated the efforts of students for designing IPVR device & standalone application which is user friendly & more efficient compared to earlier device installed in the company. The developed application will be useful to avoid short circuits in the system. Faculty mentor Prof. Dhanashree Rajderkar guided the students throughout the project life cycle.the project was possible due to support & guidance from Dr. Jaiprakash Paliwal, Dean T&P, Dr. Sanjay Haridas Principal GHRAET, Prof. Sonali Bodkhe HOD CSE &Prof. Vikrant Chole T&P Coordinator CSE.

8 Pre-submission Seminar by CSE Dept. of GHRAET, Nagpur The Department of Computer Science & Engineering of G. H. Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur had organized Presubmission Seminar for students of final year M.Tech recently. The expert was Ms. Hemlata Jawanjalfrom IT-NetworkZ Nagpur who has 10years work experience in industry. She evaluated M.Tech project of students & gave valuable suggestions. This seminar was followed by interactive session to clear the doubts and queries arose by students. Students were immensely benefited by the knowledge and experience shared by the expert. The seminar was successful because of the support of Principal, Dr. S. L. Haridas, Prof. SonaliBodkheHOD CSE and all staff members of computer science & engineering department.
