3 Foreword The Department of Hospital Administration, AIIMS is collaborating with the Research Foundation of Hospital and Healthcare Administration (RFFHA) to organize a two day MDP on 'Best practices in hospital Logistics, Inventory and Stores st nd Management' on 21 and 22 February 2015 at the Army College of Medical Sciences, Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt., Ring Road, New Delhi, India. The program is being organized as part of the endeavor of the Department of Hospital Administration, AIIMS to uphold and encourage academic excellence, research and education in keeping with the mission of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The RFFHA is a young organization formed to encourage scienti c enquiry and promote evidence based administration by providing nancial support and an enabling environment to young researchers of hospital management. Together, they are bringing together the market leaders of the healthcare industry to share their experiences and views for a better perspective on materials management in general and procurement in particular.
