3 OUR LADY OF HOPE From the Pastor s Desk Dear Friends: I wish to extend my deepest wishes for a Happy, Healthy and Joyous New Year to you and to your families. Tomorrow, January 1, we celebrate the Feast of Mary the Mother of God. What a wonderful way to begin a New Year by praising and recognizing the importance of Mary in our lives and in the life of the Church. Mary is truly the one we can go to with all our needs so that she can intercede with her Son for us. Her Son will never refuse His mother s requests. Of course the best way to honor Mary is by praying the Rosary - a powerful prayer that gives us the spiritual and joyful strength we need to continue our journey of life. Happy New Year. Very Rev.
