On Saturday and Sunday, April 1 & 2, Father Kevin Cronin will speak about our Lenten Mission. Father was with us a few years ago and was very well received. His message was excellent and he was asked to return to our parish. I know you will enjoy him and his message. Above all, a Lenten Mission is a time for all of us to look within ourselves and ask where am I going as a Christian and where should I change for the better? LENTEN REFLECTIONS As part of our parish Lenten offerings and Easter preparation, we will once again offer on the Thursdays of Lent, continuing through March 30 th ~ films which will not only entertain but be a source of inspiration and conversation. Into Great Silence: March 30: 9:30 AM & 7:30 PM Sixteen years after making his initial request, filmmaker Philip Groning travels to the Grande Chartreuse, a monastery nestled deep in the French Alps. For approximately six months, Groning immerses himself in the daily rituals, prayers and tasks performed by the Carthusian monks, considered to be among the most ascetic of all orders. Tickets are $ For ticket information please call On Good Friday, April 14, 2017, Communion and Liberation will sponsor the Way of the Cross over the Brooklyn Bridge. Participants will congregate for the first station at St. James Cathedral, Brooklyn, at 10:00 am. After a station on the Brooklyn Bridge, the procession will follow the cross to a third station at City Hall Park in Manhattan, and a fourth station near Ground Zero. The final station will be at St. Peter s Church, on Barclay Street, concluding at 1:30 pm. At each station, there will be readings from the Passion, a mediation, a reflection and hymns.
