Stylists are eligible for this bangle each time after she first achieves 16 shows. Hostess Jewelry Booking Incentive Stylists and apprentices are able to offer Hostesses who book a Fall 16 show the opportunity to purchase a Jewelry item at 50% off once her show has been booked in CLIO. This is a one-time promotion for a Hostess and Co-Hostess during the season; if they host multiple shows for you in a single season, they are only eligible for one 50% off item. Stylists, including those on a full Sabbatical, and apprentices are not eligible to earn a 50% off item if they are hosting the show. The 50% off Hostess jewelry item needs to be be placed as a retail order, as it is a booking incentive; shipping charges will apply. This type of order may not be added to a show so it needs to be processed separately. Your Hostess may, however, use any of her Hostess Benefits earned at the show toward jewelry, and those orders that ship with the show will receive free shipping. Hostess Referral Program Our Hostess Referral Program recognizes women who are helping you build your business by extending referral benefits to any friend or acquaintance who refers you to a new Hostess (regardless of whether or not she is a purchasing cabi client or Hostess). Stay cabi true as you share this benefit, which is intended to help you build your business through referrals. We will closely monitor the use of this benefit in order to ensure it s being properly offered and redeemed. At the time of the new Hostess s show, the Referrer Will Receive 1 Item at 50% off New Hostess Will Receive 1 Item at 50% off Hostess Benefits & cabi credits FAQs Who can earn referral benefits? Anyone who connects you to a new Hostess can earn referral benefits. Stylists (including those on a Sabbatical) and apprentices are not eligible to earn referral benefits. Who qualifies as a new Hostess? A new Hostess is anyone who is hosting a show with you for the first time. How do I input someone as a referrer when they have never shopped with me before? If someone who has never shopped with you connects you with a new Hostess, you will first need to add her (the referrer) to your Address Book in CLIO and then you will be able to input her as the referrer for the show. SALES OPPORTUNITIES GUIDE 4
5 Can someone be both a Co-Hostess and a referrer? A Co-Hostess cannot be the referrer for her own show. If you have input someone as a Co-Hostess, you will not be able to add her as a referrer for the same show. Hostess Benefits Bank (July 1-December 31) Program Details & Timing Hostesses can bank their 50% off Hostess Benefits to use following their show at any time during the Fall 16 season. This is a fabulous benefit for Hostesses who cannot afford to use all their Benefits at the time of their show, or do not want to redeem all their Benefits at their show, but Stylists need to be very careful in positioning this program. Followup is key to ensuring Hostesses use their banked Benefits before the end of the season, and do not end up forfeiting these Benefits (and you lose out on PQV!). FAQs How are Benefits banked? Hostesses and Co-Hostess bank 50% off Benefits in three ways: 1. From Benefits not used at a show 2. From the return of 50% off items 3. From cancellations of a backordered item At the time the show is closed, Stylists will be notified and will have the ability to distribute any unused show Benefits between a Hostess and a Co-Hostess. What can these banked Benefits be used for? Banked Benefits may be used for all items in the Fall 2016 Collection, cabi Jewelry, and/or New Arrivals. By when does my Hostess need to use her banked Benefits? All Fall 16 banked Benefits expire at midnight Pacific on Saturday, December 31. Any banked Benefits not redeemed by this date will be forfeited. They do not rollover to Spring 17. There can be no exceptions made. What s the best way to redeem banked Benefits? We recommend redeeming banked Benefits through a retail order rather than through a show. This is because when banked Benefits are redeemed on a new show, it could negatively impact the number of Hostess Benefits earned on that show. If your Hostess is ordering enough full-priced items to bump her up to another 50% off item, CLIO may not allow any/all banked Benefits. If you are redeeming banked Benefits on a show, and CLIO is not allowing you to apply all the banked Benefits your Hostess would like to use, there is no way to force acceptance of the Benefits on the show. With retail orders, there are no restrictions on how many Benefits you can apply. How do I see my Hostess remaining Benefits? To access the Hostess Benefits Bank in CLIO, go to My Connections and then Hostess Benefits. Hostesses and Co-Hostesses will have access to the number of banked Benefits they have available in the Online Hostess Planner. What Benefits can t be banked? This program is exclusively for Hostesses and Co- Hostesses. Referring Hostess Benefits cannot be banked. Active Stylists (including those on a full Sabbatical) and apprentices are not eligible to participate in the Hostess Benefits Bank Program for any reason. How do I redeem my Hostess banked Benefits? Banked Benefits may be redeemed as a retail order (standard shipping applies) or as part of an additional show that Hostess or Co-Hostess may host during Fall 16. If the Benefits are redeemed as part of a show, the banked Benefits cannot be used until all current show Benefits are used. SALES OPPORTUNITIES GUIDE 5
