1 OSA Bi-Monthly Update September 15, 2017 Okaloosa STEMM Academy 379 Edge Avenue Valparaiso, FL (P) SAC Committee The SAC Committee will meet on four Tuesday afternoons during the year. First meeting will be on September 19 th at 3:00 pm in CSI. If you are interested in serving on the Okaloosa STEMM Academy School Advisory Council for the school year, please me at Parents: Please make sure the FIC cards are completed, dated, signed, and returned as soon as possible. These cards generate federal impact funding that is vital to our school. Each advisory is making their own design To be worn on Field Day Can be worn on Non-Uniform Days Price $15 Pay by cash or check payable to OSA Submit to PTO Box in front office See order form attached to the newsletter Delivery expected by October 31 st If you need to confirm if placed an order, 1

Please save your Box Tops and submit them to the collection box located in the front office by October 15 th. The Box Tops need to be accounted for and then mailed a short time after that. Non-Uniform Day Rules Length of short, skirt, skort, or dress must be no shorter than 3 above knee NO HOLES in clothing NO GYM SHORTS OR SWEAT PANTS NO TIGHT JEANS, JEGGINGS, OR PANTS Leggings or tights must be worn under a long tunic or dress NO inappropriate slogans NO tank tops or spaghetti strap tops 3

OSA Students: Come dressed inspired by your favorite Comic Con character or come dress in regular clothing. Everyone s clothing must conform to the school s Non- Uniform Day rules.

No tight, body hugging, clothes. No full-face masks. Each ticket purchase allows you to have pizza, drinks, dessert, and a good time. Only STEMM Students permitted. Buy your ticket during lunch each day the week of September 25 th or at the dance. Buying early means you will get in quicker.
