The original parade of Adelpheans through the halls of Wesleyan is recreated, with everyone in white dresses and blue satin ribands bearing the motto, We Live for Each Other, as the participants process into the Formal Opening Session of the convention. Everyone is invited to participate in the Adelphean Processional at the 2013 Grand Convention. To participate, you must be wearing a white dress or suit without colored trim and white shoes. No slacks, pant suits or flip flops are permitted. The Formal Opening with its many traditions sets the tone for the remainder of the meeting and is the official opening of the 2013 Grand Convention. Included in the program will be the keynote speech from International President, Tammie Pinkston, Zeta Nu and Gamma Phi. 11:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. Memorial Service The Memorial Service, to honor deceased sisters, has been a timehonored part of convention since :30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sorority Spirit Boutique and Vendors 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Foundation Luncheon Meet Alpha Delta Pi sisters who benefit from and contribute to the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, as we celebrate the Foundation s mission to Educate. This is the official closing of the business portion of Grand Convention, unless business is not concluded. If business is not concluded, another session will be held at a time to be determined.
