In addition to textbooks, some of our programs require that you wear a certain uniform when in clinical or other public settings and/or purchase additional supplies that you will need to complete your coursework. Please find your program below for a list of the items you will need. 2 NURSING TRADITIONAL OR ACCELERATED As a student of the Nebraska Methodist College Nursing program, it is important that you wear the same official, embroidered uniform to let patients, families and healthcare staff know who you are. As such you must order your uniform by following the link below as it will be embroidered to identify both Nebraska Methodist College and your program. Each student is required to have at least one (1) set of embroidered scrubs (though students often elect to order two (2) scrub tops and bottoms), an embroidered polo top and a lab coat. 6 PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT As a student of the NMC Physical Therapist Assistant Program, you are required to have at least one, embroidered polo top to wear during clinical visits. To purchase your polo tops, please visit our PTA Uniforms site. The polos are snag-resistant, moisture-wicking and color blocked, two-tone. They are available in your choice of two different color combinations see below. The Along with your polo, you are also required to wear khaki, long pants. Please note that these are not available through our uniform site and must be acquired elsewhere. 8 RESPIRATORY CARE As a student of the Nebraska Methodist College nursing program, it is important that you wear the same official, embroidered uniform to let patients, families and healthcare staff know who you are. Please always remember that your appearance in clinical settings is a reflection of the college. Each student is required to have at least 1 set of embroidered scrubs while some students will order two. Please contact your Program Director about the final date to order uniforms to ensure delivery before clinical visits begin. To purchase these embroidered items, you will need to visit our Respiratory Care Uniforms site. As a Respiratory student you must order silver scrubs top and a black scrub pant. Please note that we do not carry the black scrub pants in the bookstore. 9 SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY As a student in the Nebraska Methodist College Surgical Technology Program, you will be required to wear surgical scrubs during clinical visits. Surgical scrubs will be provided by the clinical site. You will, however, be required to wear scrubs to lab. You are welcome to visit the NMC Bookstore for these scrubs or you may purchase them on your own.

10 MEDICAL ASSISTANT As a student in the Nebraska Methodist College Medical Assistant Program, it is important that you wear the same official, uniform to let patients, families and healthcare staff know who you are. As such, each student will receive two full sets of wine-colored scrubs. The cost for your uniform scrubs is included in your program s tuition, and therefore, you will not have to pay anything additionally for your uniforms. After beginning the program, you will be directed to visit the NMC bookstore to select sizing and subsequently pick up your uniforms.

11 MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING As a student in the Nebraska Methodist College MSN Program, it is important that you wear the same official, embroidered lab coat to let patients, families and healthcare staff know who you are. It is required that you order your lab coat through the link below as it will display the Nebraska Methodist College logo and as well as your program. You will also wear your official student ID when you attend clinical sites. It is recommended that you order your uniform within the first semester of the program. To purchase your lab coat, you will need to visit our MSN Lab Coat site. When placing your order, you will have the option to either pick up your lab coat from the NMC Bookstore or to include your address and it will be sent to you. All costs, including embroidery, shipping and tax will be included within the cost of the lab coat itself. 12 MASTER IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY As a student in the Nebraska Methodist College Master of Science in OT Program, it is important that you wear the same official, embroidered polo to let patients, families and healthcare staff know who you are. It is required that you order your polos through the link below as it will display the Nebraska Methodist College logo and Occupational Therapy identification. Each student is required to have at least one (1) uniform polo (although students generally purchase two (2) polos due to multiple-day clinical visits). To purchase polos, you will need to visit our Occupational Therapy Uniform site. Please note that, in addition to the uniform polo, you will be required to wear khaki, long pants. You can purchase the items listed below at the Nebraska Methodist College bookstore or from another healthcare supply provider. The Occupational Therapy Fieldwork Pack is a black, zippered bag that is inscribed with a Nebraska Methodist College seal on the side.
