Julie Sugar, President lrhsptsapresident@gmail.com A Note from Our BOOSTER CLUB... We invite your family to join the Loch Raven High School Booster Club. The Loch Raven High School Booster Club is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to promote, support and provide recognition to athletes and students participating in a variety of school activities. We provide financial assistance to organizations that actively support the Booster Club. Our goal is to provide supplemental funding to these supporters in order to enhance the extracurricular experience of our students. We are proud of our contributions we made in to the Drama team for new microphones, Speech and Debate team, and the Athletic Teams including a score table, wrestling mats, and new baseball scoreboard. These endeavors were made possible because of your generosity and funds raised by the Booster Club. There are many ways to get involved in the Booster Club. First join the Booster Club.
3 Second, volunteer to help in the concession stand or be a parent rep for your students' team, etc. Third, come out to our monthly meeting, which is held the first Tuesday of every month at LRHS. The meeting begins at 7pm and lasts for only 1 hour. CLICK HERE FOR MEMBERSHIP FORM A Note from the Post Prom Party Committee... FIRST PPP MEETING, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 7PM We'd like to let you know that our first major fundraiser of the year is a Yankee Candle Fundraiser. Order forms were sent home on 9/1. The PPP makes 50% of all the proceeds from this sale. Delivery will be in time for the holidays. We raise our own $ for this party. While we are part of the PTSA, we are not funded by the PTSA. We have some support from local and corporate donations, but we count on our LRHS parents to come through. Please note that because we're part of the PTSA, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, your contribution is tax deductible. Here are our suggested donation amounts; however, any amount you wish to give is greatly appreciated: Freshman-$15.00 Sophomore-$25.00 Junior-$35.00 Senior-$45.00 Please send your check by October 31, 2011 to: LRHS PTSA PPP 1212 Cowpens Ave Baltimore, Maryland Parents from all grades are needed and welcome at our meeting the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Teachers' Lounge at 7pm. The success of your son's or daughter's PPP can be increased by active participation prior to their senior year. Every year gets better with new experiences.
