Where: San Jose Mexican Restaurant located at 115 Northpoint Drive, Lexington, SC Description: Show your support for Midway Elementary and enjoy dinner at San Jose Mexican Restaurant. The MES PTO will receive a portion of the proceeds. LES Skate Night at Skate Station U.S.A. When: Tuesday, November 10, 6 8 P.M. Where: Skate Station U.S.A. in Lexington Description: Lexington Elementary students are invited to this fun night of free skating with their school friends. RCES imoms When: Wednesday, November 11, 7 A.M. Where: Rocky Creek Elementary Description: Rocky Creek Elementary invites students and their mothers (or a female role model) to the imoms monthly meeting. Students and their moms enjoy a light breakfast and then engage in meaningful, encouraging conversation about this month s discussion topic. OGES Skate Night at Skate Station U.S.A. When: Thursday, November 12, 6 8 P.M. Where: Skate Station U.S.A. in Lexington Description: Oak Grove Elementary students, family and friends are invited to this fun night of free skating.

2 Page 2 of 5 GPS Scout Giving Harvest Fall Festival When: Friday, November 13, 5:30 8:30 P.M. Where: Gilbert Primary School Description: Gilbert Elementary families are invited to enjoy several fun-filled activities at the GPS Scout Giving Harvest Fall Festival. Activities include a bounce house, cake walk and crafts. Several food and product vendors will be on hand selling various food items and other goods. Admission: $5 per child with a maximum admission fee of $15 and children under two are free MES Silent Auction and Dinner When: Friday, November 13, 5:30 8:30 P.M. Description: The Midway Elementary PTO hosts this signature event to raise money to help fund school projects. GMS Powder Puff Game When: Saturday, November 14, 7 P.M. Where: Gilbert High School Football Stadium Description: It is time once again for Gilbert Middle s annual Powder Puff Game, which is sponsored by the GMS Choral Boosters. Enjoy great food and entertaining football. Admission: $6 for adults, $4 for students and free admission for children under five (no district passes or staff identification badges are allowed for admission.) NPES Monster Book Fair When: Monday Thursday, November 16 19, 7:25 7:40 A.M. and 2:30 3 P.M., morning hours only Friday, November 20 Where: New Providence Elementary School Description: New Providence Elementary students and families are invited to shop the Monster Book Fair. Parents will have the opportunity to donate a book to their child s classroom. They can also contribute to an effort to collect books for children impacted by recent flooding. MES Parent and Student Morning with Guidance When: Tuesday, November 17, 7 7:30 A.M. Description: Midway Elementary invites students and their fathers (or a male role model) to spend quality time together while eating breakfast and discussing a variety of topics. Where: New Providence Elementary Description: New Providence Elementary invites students and their fathers (or a male role model) to All Pro Dad s Day. The program allows students and their fathers to enjoy breakfast together and engage in meaningful, encouraging conversation about the month s discussion topic. WKHS Rock the Wolf Den When: Thursday, November 19, 7 P.M. Where: White Knoll High Wolf Den Description: Come cheer on the White Knoll High basketball teams. Both the boys and girls teams will be introduced during this pep rally. The first 50 Carolina Springs Middle, White Knoll Middle and WKHS students will receive a free #RISEUP T-shirt. LES Family Night at Sonic Drive-in When: Thursday, November 19, 5 8 P.M. Where: Sonic Drive-In in Lexington Description: Show your support for Lexington Elementary by attending LES Family Night at Sonic Drive-In. The LES PTA will receive a portion of the proceeds. MES Uno s Pizzeria and Grill Day When: Thursday, November 19 Where: Uno s Pizzeria and Grill in Lexington Description: If you are hungry for delicious pizza, then come to Midway Elementary s Uno s Pizzeria and Grill Day. The MES PTO will receive a portion of the proceeds. PHMS PTSA Family Night and Scholastic Book Fair When: Friday, November 20, 5:30 7:30 P.M. Where: Pleasant Hill Middle School Description: Unplug and spend time with your family at the Pleasant Hill Middle PTSA Family Night and Scholastic Book Fair. The PHMS Learning Commons will be transformed into Hogwarts, complete with books, posters, trivia and a selfie station. Interested in covering an event? 4 Page 4 of 5 MES PAC PTO Parents Night Out When: Friday, November 20, 6:30 9:30 P.M. for ages 3 4 and 6:30 10 P.M. for ages 5 13 Where: Palmetto Athletic Center Description: Midway Elementary parents can enjoy a night out while their children have fun at the Palmetto Athletic Center. Children will enjoy basketball, an inflatable bouncer, trampolines and more. Parents can preregister at The MES PTO will receive 10 percent of the registration fee. Admission: $12, $15 (includes pizza and drink) or $17 (includes pizza, drink and ice cream) LTC hosts Global Cardboard Challenge When: Saturday, November 21, 9 11:30 A.M. Where: Lexington Technology Center Description: Lexington Technology Center hosts a cardboard challenge for elementary, middle and high school students. Students will design and build creations out of cardboard and other recycled materials and bring them to LTC to be judged. The entries will be judged on creativity, design and stability. For more information or to register visit LES Family Day at Bellacino s Pizza and Grinders When: Wednesday, December 2, noon 8 P.M. Where: Bellacino s Pizza and Grinders in Lexington Description: Bring the whole family and enjoy a pizza dinner at the Lexington Elementary Family Day at Bellacino s Pizza and Grinders. Be sure to mention your child s teacher s name when ordering. The class with the most participation will get a pizza party. The LES PTA will receive a protion of the proceeds. MES Chick-fil-A Day When: Thursday, December 3, 6:30 10 P.M. Where: Chick-fil-A Lexington Description: Midway Elementary families are invited to have dinner at the MES Chick-fil-A Night. The MES PTO will receive a portion of the proceeds. MES Winter Singalong When: Thursday, December 10, 6:30 P.M. Description: Enjoy a night of music led by the Midway Elementary Fourth-Grade Chorus and students participating in afterschool instrumental classes. Interested in covering an event?
