2 Accommodations at The Peppermill Casino & Spa With sweeping views of Reno's cityscape and the breathtaking Sierras, our 600 Tuscany Tower suites combine old-world splendor with sophisticated, contemporary hotel amenities to create an unforgettable experience. Handpainted Italian art and private foyers provide an elegant, personal space. From the outside, Peppermill Casino Hotel's Tuscany Tower is a modern glass structure, reflecting sun and sky. But from the inside, it reflects the classic style of Tuscan luxury. Warm colors evoke rolling green and umber Italian hillsides. Plush hotel room interiors offer peace and comfort. Peppermill Resort Hotel Casino offers a wide range of destination resort features that help provide our guests with award-winning hospitality, convenience, and enjoyment. Whether you re looking for an easier way to check in and out, quick and easy Wi-Fi connectivity, or to find your way around the property - even before you get here, our Resort Features are at your service. Local Attractions Reno, Nevada: The Biggest Little City in the World What began as a small community built to serve westward travelers in the mid-1800s has become a bustling city that acts as the gateway to northern Nevada, aptly known as "the Biggest Little City in the World." Within an hour's drive, there are 15 ski resorts, 50 golf courses, Lake Tahoe, the state capital Carson City, thousands of biking and hiking trails, several lakes that are perfect for fishing and boating, and the entire length of the Truckee River, which runs right through the center of Reno's downtown. Couple those activities with Reno's hotels and casinos, plus a growing nightlife, and you have the perfect place to visit for a few days and enjoy some recreation. Kayakers can enjoy the Truckee River Whitewater Park (the centerpiece of the annual Reno River Festival), conveniently located downtown next to an eclectic mix of shops and eateries. Car enthusiasts should visit the National Automobile Museum if they can t make it to Hot August Nights, Reno s famous classic-car event. Visit the downtown Triple-A baseball stadium in Verdi. Downtown Reno is Reno's most popular area for bars and clubs. However, there are a few other hotspots including East Fourth Street, Wells Avenue, the UNR area, Kietzke Lane, and all along South Virginia Street. Most neighborhoods also have their local bars, sports bars, or breweries mainly in strip malls. The casinos, Pioneer Center, Bruka Theatre, La Bussola, Sierra Arts and the Reno Events Center also provide numerous concerts, art events, plays, and shows as well.
