2 Onsite Sign-in There will be onsite sign-in for the course on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 1:30 pm at the conference room in the Sleeping Lady Inn. You will receive your printed textbook and schedule when you sign in. Sign-in is required so that we have an accurate record of your attendance for CME credits. Lodging The conference is being held at the Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort. The resort is nestled in the Cascade Mountains on the banks of Icicle Creek, just outside Leavenworth, WA. AdventureMed has a room block reserved for the conference at a rate of Single Occupancy: $ per night plus taxes (10.2%) and a meal charge of $85 per person plus taxes (8.2%) per night. All meals our included with room reservations, therefore; the meal charge must be added to the room rate to calculate your total daily charge before taxes. Dining gratuity is not included in the above rate and is at Individual-Guest discretion. Cancellations are allowed up to 14 days prior to the arrival date with no penalty. Cancellation after that time will result in forfeiture of one night s stay plus tax, which is the deposit. 6 Transportation Sleeping Lady is located about two hours northeast of Seattle in the beautiful Cascade Mountains of Washington State, and just moments from the charm of Leavenworth (2.6 miles) at 7375 Icicle Road, Leavenworth, WA Directions by Car, train and plane: Clothing and Other Equipment The weather in the Leavenworth area is moderate in the summertime with daytime highs in the mid to upper 70s and overnight lows in the 40s. The course will be held rain or shine, so participants should bring raingear and warmer layers to account for unexpected cold or precipitation. Hats and sunscreen are recommended for sun protection. All equipment and supplies for the hands-on teaching sessions will be provided.
