1 The Duke Department of Radiology Presents Mammograms to MRI: June 27 30, 2016 Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Kiawah Island, SC
2 HOTEL INFORMATION KIAWAH ISLAND GOLF RESORT East Beach One bedroom scenic premier or deluxe view villa $305 East Beach Two bedroom scenic premier or deluxe view villa $370 East Beach Three bedroom scenic premier or deluxe view villa $514* Sanctuary Room $510** Resort service fee of 9% per villa per day will apply to all villa rentals. Rates are subject to 12.5% accommodation tax which is subject to change without notice. Maximum occupancy at Kiawah Island Golf Resort is two adults per bedroom. Children under the age of 18 when accompanied by an adult and staying in the same room are free of charge. Check in time is 4:30 pm. and check out is 10:30 a.m. These rates will be available to attendees three (3) days prior and three (3) days after scheduled conference dates if available. 3 COURSE DESCRIPTION This program is designed to provide a comprehensive review and update of both established breast imaging modalities along with advances in state-of-the-art techniques. A complete discussion with emphasis on practical advice of analog and digital mammography, breast ultrasound and interventional techniques will provide a strong foundation to advance to newer technologies. Identifying the role and interpretation of breast MRI will be given special attention. EDUCATIONAL GOALS After attending the course, participants should be able to: Discuss the newest techniques being utilized to diagnose and treat diseases of the breast. Recognize the newest techniques being implemented in breast imaging. Meet their yearly requirements for accreditation. After May 27, 2016 there is a $75 late fee making the registration $970/$870/$770 respectively. The registration fee includes tuition, continental breakfast and refreshment breaks.
