5 JOIN Ramiel Petros ASFC President ASFC BOARDS PRESIDENT S BOARD The goal of the President s Board is to be an extension of ASFC and to be the voice of the student body at Foothill College. We are committed to engaging students in the Foothill community, and being a resource and asset across campus. FINANCE BOARD SENATE BOARD ADMINISTRATION BOARD TODAY John Fakukakis VP of Finance Samah Shaiq VP of Senate Joel Indralingam VP of Administration //PICK UP AN APPLICATION Call : Click : asfcsec@foothill.edu Come in: ASFC Office (Room 2011) The Finance Board is responsible for allocating funds for the proper functionality of ASFC. It is the job of the Finance Board to create a budget for the most efficient and smooth operation of the student government s finances. MARKETING BOARD The Senate Board is a voice for the students of Foothill College, and advocates for their needs to the ASFC Campus Council as well as the governing bodies at college, regional, and state levels. It is the job of the Senate Board to develop and recommend legislation, policies, programs, and regulations that may be necessary to address the needs of the students. ACTIVITIES COUNCIL The Administration Board serves to handle all administrative affairs of the student government, which ranges from organizing the annual student body elections to maintaining the student office. Our main goal is to build a more efficient and effective student body in terms of office management and constitution implementation. INTER CLUB COUNCIL CAMPUS COUNCIL MEETINGS THURSDAYS 2-4 P.M. It is the job of the Marketing Board to inform the student body of all things related to ASFC. Micaella Fajardo VP of Activities The Activities Council effectively plans and develops activities for students such as weekly College Hour events, Heritage & Health Series Month events, Welcome Week events, Thanksgiving, Global Gala and so much more. Not only do officers and volunteers alike serve the students, they also have fun doing it. Join the Activities Council and come join the fun! Begimay Samykbaeva VP of ICC Inter Club Council handles all campus club business. We help guide current clubs in handling their administrations as well as setting up new clubs to develop student leadership and services on campus. We strive to unlock each club s potential and establish coordination, communication and cooperation among all 60 student clubs at Foothill College.

6 Steps INTER CLUB COUNCIL ICC/Clubs Enroll for classes and get your OwlCard Student ID & Beyond the Classroom Calendar & Planner in the ASFC Smart Shop, Campus Center (Room 2016), and see if there is a club you want to activate, reactivate or join. For assistance in determinating your club's status and for answers about the club activation process, contact Student Activities Specialist Erin Ortiz at OrtizErin@foothill.edu. You can also review the active club list at orgysnc. com. Additional club listings are available at foothill.edu/campuslife/club. php. To activate or reactivate a club complete the below steps: 1. Complete and submit the online activation/reactivation form from your portal's OrgSync tab. 2. Obtain the valid student ID#s and contact information of five preliminary members. 3. Ask a faculty/staff advisor to agree to be on campus for official club meetings and to attend club events, to also be responsible for overseeing your club budget, and ask to get her/him to approve your Activation/ Reactivation Form at OrgSync.com by on any Monday during the first five weeks of the quarter. 4. Appoint a club ICC representative who will be responsible for attending weekly ICC meetings, Tuesdays at in the Campus Center (Room 2020). LGBTQ HERITAGE 5. Be certain that your club's ICC representative attends the ICC meeting to ensure that the ICC organization votes for your club's official activation/ reactivation. Then, their weekly leadership role is to be the paperwork processor and presenter and give weekly reports to and from your club.
