MARION NESTLE APRIL Nationally renowned speaker, professor and author of nutrition, food studies and public health Dr. Marion Nestle is coming to Cal Poly. The free and public event is scheduled 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, in the main gym of the Cal Poly Recreation Center. Nestle is known for her interesting and informative perspective examining the interaction of politics, government regulation, science and food. She explores how corporate control of the nation s food system limits our choices and threatens our health. 3 STATISTICAL CONSULTING SERVICE FOR SPRING QUARTER --- The Statistics Department provides a statistical consulting service to the entire university community to facilitate research design and data analysis in a wide variety of disciplines. The consulting service is intended to support projects and research of Cal Poly faculty and staff as well as provide assistance for students working on senior project and graduate research.
