1 Department of Mechanical Engineering organized Robo-war Competition on 16th July 2016 Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a technical event Robo-war Competition on 16 th July 2016 under forum and cultural activities 2K16 for new session Dr. V. M. Kriplani and Dr. P. V. Walke HoD Mechanical Engineering inaugurate the function, during inauguration Dr. A. K. Mahalle, Dr. V. N. Bhaiswar, Prof. S. R. Karale, Prof. V. W. Khond, Prof. A. S. Raut, Prof. Y. N. Nanadanwar, Prof. K. S. Chaudhari, Prof. B. J. Godbole, Prof. S. Nimakar was present. The competition was knockout type and students from various departments were participated in this competition, and last one stand was winner. Total 25 groups participated in this competition. The event was grace by judges Prof. S. R. Karale & Prof. V. W. Khond. Along with event coordinator the Mechanical Engineering Department Forum members worked hard to organize and successful completion of the event under the supervision of Prof. Ashish Raut & Prof. Karankumar Chaudhari. After the event Dr. P. V. Walke HoD Mechanical Engineering Department appreciated Forum members and participated students and also congratulate the winners.

2 CAD Design Competition organized by Mechanical Engineering Department Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a technical event CAD Design Competition on 6 th August 2016 under forum and cultural activities 2K16 for new session Dr. P. V. Walke HoD Mechanical Engineering inaugurate the function, during inauguration Prof. S. R. Karale, Prof. N.P. awate, Prof. A. S. Raut, Prof. K. S. Chaudhari, was present. The competition was Design of component type and students from mechanical engineering departments were participated in this competition, Total 20 students participated in this competition. The event was grace by judge Prof. N. P. Awate. Along with event coordinator the Mechanical Engineering Department Forum members worked hard to organize and successful completion of the event under the supervision of Prof. Ashish Raut & Prof. Karankumar Chaudhari. After the event Dr. P. V. Walke HoD Mechanical Engineering Department appreciated Forum members and participated students and also congratulate the winners.

3 Visit to Deaf and Dumb School, Shankar Nagar through ISR Department of mechanical engineering organised one day visit in Deaf and Dumb school, Shankar Nagar, Nagpur, on 6 th August 2016 on behalf of ISR group of department. Volunteers have spent the whole day in school with the students from school. They shared their moments and happiness with each other s. That was an event to get mixed with students and to be with them. During the visit students of fifth semester, third semester and faculties of department were present.

4 Special Prize won at Abhyudaya 2k16 on 13 th August, 2016 Department of Mechanical Engineering of college won a special prize in the event Abhyudaya 2k16 organised on the occasion of Independence Day. Abhyudaya 2k16 was the cultural event where Inter Department skit competition was organized. Various departments of the college had taken participation in that and each one had presented awesome plays based on the theme of patriotism, nations pride, salute to great leaders and martyrs. The prize distribution and result announcement was done on the same day. Here Department of Mechanical Engineering got the special prize for the play. Whole department have appreciated the efforts and congratulated to all the participants.

5 COMETS 2K16 In the eve of Ganesh Festival, Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized COMETS-2K16. In this event various events are conducted like Dance, Singing, Traditional walk.
