13 AMP MISSION STATEMENT To capitalize on the vast and varied experiences of members of the Daedalians in order to: Encourage young people to pursue careers as military aviators To assist current military aviators in their career development and progression

14 THE OPPORTUNITY 1) The Order s ranks contain many types of aviation-related experience and expertise. 2) Our multi-generational membership offers different perspectives. 3) Providing this resource to aspiring and serving aviators can make the Order even more RELEVANT to their careers.

15 HOW TO ACCOMPLISH 1. Identifying members willing to serve 2. Providing a means to upload mentor biographies, resumes 3. Adding an AMP web page with a search utility 4. Advertising the availability of mentorship 5. Connecting the mentees with the mentors 6. Special consideration with regard to underage mentees

18 MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Daedalian Foundation is to promote military aviation, education, citizenship, and charity. To accomplish this mission the Foundation has established the following goals: To inspire young Americans to pursue careers as military aviators, via college scholarships and flying instruction. To perpetuate the spirit of patriotism, the love of country, and the high ideals of self-sacrifice exemplified by the American pilots of World War I in whose honor the Order of Daedalians was founded. To raise and invest funds to advance the Daedalian Foundation mission. VISION The Daedalian Foundation will inspire tomorrow s military aviators to selflessly serve the Nation.

Definition of Success: 1) Receives our scholarship 2) Gets commissioned 3) Earns an aviation training slot Investment (scholarships) in students whom we remain in contact with $ 211,644 Investment in students who qualify for flight training (commissioned) $ 169,061 (The foundation is supporting 13 students who are not included in this total still in school) Investment in officers who have earned an aviation training slot $ 167,311 Dollars spent on aviators/dollars spent on officers 98.9%
