13 MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Daedalian Founda&on is to promote military avia&on, educa&on, ci&zenship, and charity. To accomplish this mission the Founda&on has established the following goals: To inspire young Americans to pursue careers as military aviators, via college scholarships and flying instruc&on. To perpetuate the spirit of patrio&sm, the love of country, and the high ideals of self- sacrifice exemplified by the American pilots of World War I in whose honor the Order of Daedalians was founded. To raise and invest funds to advance the Daedalian Founda&on mission. VISION The Daedalian Founda&on will inspire tomorrow s military aviators to selflessly serve the Na&on.
