5 The Foundation of NACE What does the Foundation do? In 1985, NACE created The Foundation of NACE as the 501c3 charitable arm of the organization. The Foundation s mission to support the catering and events industry by educating our members and investing in in the NACE community, is only possible through the support of partners looking to showcase their products to support future professionals through their investment in the Foundation. Businesses with an interest in the development of education and leaving a legacy in the industry can partner with the 501c3 branch of NACE. SCHOLARSHIPS The Foundation of NACE scholarship program provides awards and scholarships in the form of tuition grants, travel grants, leadership training grants, and professional development to those who desire a career in the catering and events industry. COMMUNITY GRANTS The FON community grants help fund chapters for approved community service endeavors. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT The Foundation is investing in the NACE community!
