Charities with "years of available assets" of more than 5 years receive an "F" grade regardless of other measurements. These reductions in grades are based solely on the charities' asset reserves as compared to budget.

9 Mission The Society provides financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the United States Navy and Marine Corps, their eligible family members, widows and survivors when in need; and to receive and manage funds to administer these programs.

28 Now What? Materials / Reporting / Paperwork 2017 Active Duty Fund Drive March 1, 2017 through March 31, 2017 (May be extended by Chair, CO, NCBC) Allotment donations begin June 1, 2017 and end May 31, 2018

29 Contribution Form This is the receipt for allotments, cash, check and credit card/online donations Filling the top section out ahead of time will streamline the process

30 Allotments Form must be completely filled out Copy #1: goes to PSD/IPAC Copy #2: goes to ADFD Coordinator Copy #3: goes to Donor Must be whole dollar amounts Minimum allotments is $1 (must have at least 3 months EAOS)

31 Cash and Check Donations Keep in a secure place DO NOT deposit in your personal account Turn over cash/check donations weekly to ADFD Treasurer (may be turned in more frequently) Checks paid to: NMCRS Active Duty Fund Drive DO NOT send cash through the mail

32 Online Donations Although command online donations is not easily tracked; weekly report by will be provided by NMCRS Headquarters Have online donors include command UIC in online donation and complete command name/address IMPORTANT - Encourage online donors to fill out and return contribution form

33 Administrative Duties Maintain accurate records Fill in collection log as you make contact Transfer allotment donation info to allotment transmittal form Turn collection log in to ADFA Treasurer weekly with Allotment Transmittal Form and pages 1 & 2 of donation forms

34 Administrative Duties Prepare a transmittal form for each group of 15 allotments Deliver transmittal form and copy #1 & #2 of contribution form to ADFD Treasurer each week No need for Key Person to maintain any ADFD records All are maintained after turn over by ADFD Treasurer

35 Administrative Duties Weekly Progress Report: Submit to your coordinator by Friday each week with collection log, Allotment Transmittal Form and donations Electronic copy will be provided to you Final report due April 14, 2017 (may be extended by ADFD Chair)
