1 Otrhinlarynglgy Clinic Naval Hspital Pensacla Specialty Clinics Statement f Services Services The Otrhinlarynglgy Department prvides inpatient and utpatient cnsultatin relative t the examinatin, diagnsis, treatment, and apprpriate dispsitin f patients with diseases r injuries f the head and neck. This service is prvided t all eligible beneficiaries in all age grups. The Otrhinlarynglgy Department is divided int the Otrhinlarynglgy-Head and Neck Surgery Divisin and the Audilgy Divisin. The Otrhinlarynglgy-Head and Neck Surgery Divisin prvides: 1. Specialized evaluatin and treatment f patients with disrders, diseases and injuries f the head and neck including all phases f Otlgy, Rhinlgy, Larynglgy, and Facial Plastics and Recnstructive Surgery. 2. Brnchscpic, esphagscpic, laryngscpic, naspharyngscpic examinatins and treatment. 3. A full range f primary management f all types f maxillfacial fractures and trauma. 4. Evaluatin, diagnsis and surgical management f head and neck neplasms with the exceptin f vestibular schwannmas, skull base tumrs, and recnstructin requiring micrvascular free flaps. 5. Inter-service cnsultative services as needed. 6. Cnsultative supprt t the branch clinics f the military treatment facility and t ther MTFs as requested. Minr Prcedures Physicians may perfrm minr prcedures using the assistance f a crpsman r a Registered Nurse. The prvider is respnsible fr prviding "infrmed cnsent" t the patient PRIOR t the prcedure. Minr prcedures are perfrmed in the "minr prcedure rm" r prvider's exam rm. Minr prcedures include: Fine Needle Aspirate f masses I &D f abscesses Bipsies f skin/mucsal lesin Excisin f minr grwths, EIC's, skin lesins Laser/Cautery assisted Palatal prcedures Cntrl f epistaxis using cautery and packing

2 The Audilgy Divisin prvides: 1. Supprt t the Otrhinlarynglgy service by perfrming audimetric evaluatins f patients with hearing disrders. 2. Audimetric services include pure tne audimetry, speech receptin threshld, speech discriminatin testing, tympanmetry and special site f lesin testing including tne decay, acustic reflex and decay, ENG(IRO), visual reinfrcement, canalith repsitining and nnrganic testing. 3. Prvides hearing aid evaluatin and repairs t eligible individuals. patients may be seen at this clinic n a space available basis. Service Lcatin Naval Hspital Pensacla Outpatient Services Clinic, Secnd Flr Hurs f Operatin Hspital Clinic: Mnday-Friday Physician On-Call: 24 Hurs Daily Urgent Care Clinic Services: Daily Phne Number: / 6857 OB/GYN CLINIC A tp-quality specialty clinic dedicated t prviding rutine and cmplicated bstetrical / gyneclgical services t eligible adlescent, adult, and geriatric clients. The clinic is staffed by an exceptinal grup f OB-GYN physicians, Nurse Midwives, Residents, Registered nurses, Hspital Crpsmen, and Clerical Supprt Staff. The clinic ffers a whle suite f Wmen s health and surgical services; we lk frward t having the privilege f prviding yu excellent custmer service and high quality health care. Cntact US: Frnt Desk Appintments/Cnsult Inf r Clinic Nurse Help Line Orthpedic Clinic Services The Orthpedic Department shall prvide fr the examinatin diagnsis, care, treatment, and dispsitin f patients suffering frm diseases and injuries f the musculskeletal system; perate cast and plaster rms; and prvide rthpedic appliances t eligible individuals in accrdance with current military instructins. The Orthpedic Department shall perfrm surgery fr abnrmal cnditins f bnes, jints, muscles, fasciae, and tendns and prvide care and treatment fr bne and jint infectins fractures, and sft tissue injuries. The Orthpedic Department shall als be respnsible fr evaluating the residents, interns and medical students in the varius areas f rthpedics that will be pertinent t them as GMOs r Family Practice Physicians. The Orthpedic Department shall serve all DOD eligible beneficiaries IAW current directives. This may include pediatrics, geriatrics and peple with language cultural and religius barriers which culd inhibit care.

4 Patient ppulatin The Orthpedics clinic serves Active duty, Active duty dependents, Retirees and their dependents, and VA Patients entitled t care. Inpatient care is received via the Operating Department and the nursing ward 5-West.
