This grant for 2,000 will part-fund fireworks. Llanfairpwll Memorial Institute in Anglesey will use the grant to deliver computer and IT training for residents of the local and surrounding areas. This grant for 3,736 will fund six laptops, software packages and seats. Bethania Congregational Church in Tredegar will use the grant to fund existing community activities and develop new ones aimed at reducing social isolation and improving quality of life. This grant for 1,020 will fund group running costs and advertising costs. Bridgend Bridgend Town Council Bridgend Town Council will use the grant to provide free arts workshops to engage families in creative activities. This grant for 4,900 will fund sessional workers, materials and marketing. Bridgend Bridgend Valleys Railway Company Limited Bridgend Valleys Railway Company Limited will use the grant to buy equipment to maintain the cycle and pedestrian path which runs parallel to the railway. This grant for 10,000 will fund costs for machinery and training. Bridgend Mynydd Cynffig W.I. Mynydd Cynffig W.I.in Bridgend will use the grant to take their members and the local community on a series of day trips, they will also run a community friendship day. This grant for 3,090 will fund travel, entrance fees and theatre tickets plus community events.
2 Caerphilly Caerphilly Pantside Association of Residents and Tenants Taraggan Educational Gardens Pantside Association of Residents and Tenants in Caerphilly will use the grant to run a weekly youth club for young people aged four to ten. This grant for 5,000 will fund venue hire, computers, toys, crafts,kitchen and outdoor equipment, sessional worker costs, a fence and a gate. Taraggan in Caerphilly will use the grant to create a wildlife and amphibian area for the community. The grant for 5,000 will contribute towards clearance and preparation of the ground, and the installation of water and wildlife features. Caerphilly Van Community Centre Van Community Centre in Caerphilly will use the grant to purchase items which will improve the facility for user groups. This grant for 5,688 will fund furniture, a fridge freezer, a blackout blind and training for committee members. Cardiff ACE Cardiff Limited ACE Cardiff Limited will use the grant to run English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes in the Ely area of the city which continues to receive refugees. This grant for 10,000 will fund costs for tutors, volunteers and admin, materials and printing costs, IT and transport. Cardiff Cardiff Cardiff Bangladeshi Reference Group Play Wales / Chwarae Cymru Cardiff Bangladeshi Reference Group will use the grant to run a homework club once a week for 40 weeks, for secondary school children. This grant for 5,000 will fund two tutors and an admin worker. Play Wales/Chwarae Cymru in Cardiff will use the grant to bring people of all ages together in workshops focused on the importance of play. Ending with the production and distribution of a book. This grant for 7,100 will fund workshops, illustration, project co-ordinator, translation costs, design and printing. Cardiff Women Connect First Women Connect First in Cardiff will use the grant to bring together the diverse ethnicities and cultures of the area through community activity. The sessions will be aimed at children and families in the wider community. This grant for 4,800 will fund sessional worker costs, equipment, a marketing banner and ten tablets. Carmarthenshire Youth & Children s Association in Llanelli will use the grant to employ Stress Management Mentors to support 20 young people experiencing emotional distress. This grant for 8,000 will fund mentoring and training costs, venue hire and travel. Llandyfaelog Village Hall Committee in Carmarthenshire will use the grant to upgrade their play area and buy equipment to allow local groups to work together to make environmental improvements. This grant for 9,300 will fund play equipment and new surfacing, fencing, environmental equipment and an animal feeding station. Merched y Wawr Abernant in Carmarthenshire will use the grant to take its members on a series of trips to avoid social isolation. This grant for 3,124 will fund transport, tickets, refreshments, and a tour leader. Myddynfych Tenants and Residents Association in Ammanford will use the grant to run two day trips, provide IT training and additional facilities at a local park. This grant for 4,980 will fund two litter bins, bicycle stands, four benches, a picnic table, three ipads and two day trips. St Paul s Family Centre in Carmarthenshire will use the grant to pilot a project for parents and babies with weekly sessions to improve attachment and bonding. It will include music, baby massage and baby yoga, support with breast feeding and weaning, healthy eating and stress management. Conwy Conwy Clwb Peldroed Penmachno Limited Llanfairfechan Community Hall Clwb Peldroed Penmachno Limited in Conwy will use the grant to create an allotment which is open to the whole community. This grant for 9,260 will fund construction work. Llanfairfechan Community Hall in Conwy will use the grant to refurbish the main hall floor to improve facilities for users. This grant for 5,000 will part-fund the refurbishment of the hall floor. Conwy Ysgol Eirias Ysgol Eirias in Colwyn Bay will use the grant to enable pupils to use digital technology to improve health and diet and increase physical activity. This grant for 4,989 will fund IT equipment. Denbighshire Llandyrnog Community Council Llandyrnog Community Council in Denbighshire will use the grant to develop an unused area of a playing field to provide an opportunity for the local community to take part in physical activity. This grant for 10,000 will fund the installation costs for a green gym. Denbighshire Rhuddlan Town Council Rhuddlan Town Council will use the grant to install an outdoor gym to encourage a healthier lifestyle for the local community. This grant for 3,239 will fund refreshments, ipad, printer, tutor costs, office supplies and transport costs. Flintshire Flintshire Empower - Be The Change Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam Empower Be The Change will use the grant in Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire. It will support 30 parents who are out of work to gain employment or voluntary posts, offering them training and mentoring. This grant for 9,990 will fund skill assessment, venue hire, staff costs, resources and courses. Menter Iaith Sir y Fflint in Mold will use the grant to develop new marketing materials and hold events to launch the new organisation which will highlight the improved services and activities on offer to the community. This grant for 3,735 will fund marketing materials and event costs. Flintshire Merched Y Wawr Cangel Carmel Merched Y Wawr Cangel Carmel in Flintshire will use the 980 grant to host a variety of different activities for its members. Flintshire The Counselling Hub The Counselling Hub in Flintshire will use the grant to setup a counselling service for those experiencing difficulties in their lives. This grant for 10,000 will fund staff and volunteers, running costs and office supplies. Gwynedd Coed Mawr Community Centre Coed Mawr Community Council in Bangor will use the grant to create a new storage area for the equipment owned by the many groups who use their centre. This grant for 10,000 will fund the extension. Gwynedd Sioe Bala Sioe Bala will use the grant to organise and hold a Horticultural and Poultry Show, and a Food and Folk Festival Show. 6 Gwynedd The Bangor Cricket Club The Bangor Cricket Club in Gwynedd will use the grant to refurbish the cricket pavilion which will provide improved facilities for the local community. This grant for 5,000 will fund labour, plastering, electrical works, carpet, heaters and roof repair. Gwynedd Ysgol Cymerau Ysgol Cymerau, in Gwynedd, will introduce a new piece of equipment to their playground to encourage the community to become more active, giving the children the confidence to achieve further learning outdoors. This grant for 4,500 will fund the purchase and installation of play equipment. Neath Port Talbot Neath Port Talbot Newport Newport Croeserw Beavers Skewen Women's Institute Newport Chinese Community Centre Newport City Radio Community Interest Company Croeserw Beavers in Neath Port Talbot will use the grant to expand the afterschool club for young children. This grant for 2,942 will fund equipment and materials, educational visits, the hire of three buses, activities, guest speaker fees, and partially fund room hire. Skewen Women's Institute in Neath will use the grant to organise activities aimed at alleviating loneliness and improving health and well-being. This grant for 9,667 will fund IT equipment, venue hire, speakers, tutor costs, transport, entry fees and stationery. Newport Chinese Community Centre will use the grant to run a luncheon and activity club for people over the age of 60 to encourage socialisation. This grant for 8,980 will fund staff and volunteer costs, training, running costs and office supplies, events, meetings and transport. Newport City Radio Community Interest Company will use the grant to purchase equipment to offer training in radio production to upskill volunteers. This grant for 4,049 will fund food, decoration, speaker fees and a trip. Pembrokeshire Christmas Together Christmas Together in Milford Haven will use the grant to provide an opportunity for people in the community who are socially isolated to get together on Christmas Day for a festive meal and entertainment. This grant for 8,500 will fund a chef, catering equipment, storage units and office supplies. Pembrokeshire Pembrokeshire Hubberston VC Nursery and Primary School New Hedges Village Hall Management Committee Hubberston VC Nursery and Primary School in Pembrokeshire will be merging with another school. They will use the grant to create a stained glass window which showcases their shared values. This grant for 5,000 will fund two windows, a sessional tutor, labour, installation fee and staff support. New Hedges Village Hall Management Committee in Pembrokeshire will use the grant to replace old/condemned play area equipment. It will consist of a modular multi-play structure suitable for the junior to adult age range. This grant for 5,000 will fund the multi-play unit Pembrokeshire The DPJ Foundation The DPJ Foundation in Haverfordwest will use the grant to setup a telephone service for people with mental health problems in rural communities, to offer 24/7 support and access to counselling sessions.this grant for 10,000 will fund staff and volunteer costs, marketing, IT equipment, internet and telephones. Powys Cylch Cyfansawdd Carno Cylch Cyfansawdd Carno in Powys will use the grant to provide more exciting and stimulating activities for the children attending the group. This grant for 2,150 will fund catering, transport, Christmas crackers and decorations. Penderyn Community Centre will use the grant to improve the grass area of Yr Erthin in their village by clearing and maintaining paths and buying chairs and picnic tables. This grant for 6,682 will fund equipment and labour costs. Porth Men's Shed in Rhondda Cynon Taf will use the grant to expand the club s provision and improve its facilities in order to attract more members. This grant for 7,544 will fund rent, insurance, and workshop equipment. Show Racism the Red Card in the Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, will use the grant to hold a local event to promote community cohesion and celebrate diversity. Dunvant Women s Institute in Swansea will use the grant to hold a 90th Anniversary Celebration for members, their families and local groups in the community which will increase social interaction. This grant for 4,875 will fund a venue, equipment and decorations for the celebration event, plus entrance fees and travel to a number of places of interest. Gendros Community Choir in Swansea will use the grant to run the choir and attend events. This grant for 4,915 will fund a choir master, venue hire, choir polo shirts, sheet music and transport costs. Mumbles Development Trust Limited in Swansea will use the grant to extend access to participation and provide improved facilities. This grant for 4,950 will fund new equipment, a storage facility, laptop and accessories and promotional materials. Torfaen Goytre Village Hall Goytre Village Hall in Pontypool will use the grant towards the costs of a refurbishment programme and will replace fire doors which do not meet current standards. The grant of 5000 will buy new fire doors. Torfaen Vale of Glamorgan The Friends of Henllys Local Nature Reserve Vale People First Limited The Friends of Henllys Local Nature Reserve in Torfaen will use the grant to purchase new digital technology which will provide improved facilities for user groups. Vale People First Limited in the Vale of Glamorgan will use the grant to create a toolkit for interacting with people with learning disabilities which will be developed by their members and local people who have learning disabilities.
