This includes surgeons; emergency physicians; nurses; occupational, physical and respiratory therapists; EMS providers; pharmacists; and paramedics. Family medicine and pediatric practitioners who evaluate and treat thermal injuries may also benefit from attending. The conference will focus on the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to burn care. This includes executing burn prevention strategies, implementing the latest evidence-based burn care, describing rehabilitation practices and partnering with community outreach programs.
