MCHC Education Workshops In October, Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber introduced education workshops to Chamber members and business connections. Come learn what is happening in Montgomery County and the impact it will have on you and our community. With the addition of education workshops to Chamber events, brings new opportunities to underwrite and promote your business. If you are interested in an underwriting opportunity, please Please note that dates are only available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once the dates are filled, we will begin a Wait List for any cancellations. Why underwrite a workshop? Pre-event publicity in our monthly newsletter, Chamber website, and Chamber Calendar of Events which are available at all Chamber events. Announcement of your business underwriting a workshop at the Chamber s monthly luncheon one month prior to event. Introduction and microphone time at monthly luncheon to speak about your company. What is the cost to underwrite a workshop? $250 for members $400 for non-members Location & Time: MCHC monthly education workshops will be scheduled at The Woodlands Area Chamber, 9320 Lakeside Blvd., Building 2, Suite 200, The Woodlands, TX, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Seats are limited to the first 25 registrations so register online early! Our monthly education workshops are hosted by a different Chamber member or business connection each month. Non-members are limited to underwriting one workshop per calendar year. Before the workshop is presented, the subject matter with an outline of the presentation (can be as simple as bullet points) require Board approval. Once the content has been approved, the Underwriter will receive a written confirmation. What is the cost to underwrite a luncheon? $500 for table of 8 $1,000 for Exclusive Sponsor Applications are Available Now for the LMC Class of 2019! Apply online now for Leadership Montgomery County (LMC) - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating the future leaders of Montgomery County. LMC gives participants the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the community through class education sessions and enhance their leadership skills through the leadership development series, all while networking with other professionals from throughout the county. The nine-month program also gives class members the chance to give back to the community with their class project. LMC alumni can be found throughout the county serving in leadership roles for both businesses and nonprofit organizations alike. After 13 months of construction, the highly-anticipated 151,338 square-foot Medical Office Building Two (MOB 2) and nearly 300,000 square-foot parking garage are now complete.

4 Member Happenings in Montgomery County Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital expands footprint in Montgomery County with two additional structures As Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital approaches the one year anniversary of opening its doors this June, the hospital continues to prepare for future growth by expanding its resources to better serve the community. After 13 months of construction, the highly-anticipated 151,338 square-foot Medical Office Building Two (MOB 2) and nearly 300,000 square-foot parking garage are now complete. As a patient, juggling multiple appointments can be challenging, especially if there is traveling involved from one office to the next. MOB 2 provides patients easy access to physicians in specialized fields, with the convenience of being located on the same campus as the hospital and Medical Office Building One (MOB 1), which opened in The building stands six-stories high, with a third-level glass walkway that connects to the parking garage. The air conditioned walking space is dedicated to enhancing accessibility for patients and staff, ensuring that they are protected from the elements, said Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital vice president of operations, Trent Fulin. If you look closely, you can see the hospitals logo M integrated in to the sleek, metal design. At Houston Methodist The Woodlands, leading in technology and innovation does not stop at the hospital doors, but continues throughout the entire campus. The new, seven-story, 800-car garage features the latest technology, with wireless access points and electric car charging stations for patients, guests and staff to take advantage of. The new facility is connected to the hospital with a sky bridge on the third level, with protected access to MOB 1 and MOB 2. This additional space allows us to accommodate the growing needs of the community now and in the future, said Fulin. By combining the services that our hospital and medical office buildings offer into one centralized location, we have the ability to provide patients with high-quality, comprehensive healthcare that is close-tohome. # # # About Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital opened in 2017 with 187 beds and occupies 470,000 square feet, including a 150,000- square-foot-medical building.
