8 7 Meet the BAND Night!!! Friday, August 24, 2018 in the Cafeteria Dinner Served from 5:30 until 6:30 Dinner tickets are just $10.00 each Yes folks, it s that time of year. As we embark upon another great marching season, we invite you to MEET THE BAND Night! This is your first chance to: v Meet the Winston Churchill Charger Band and Color Guard! v Meet the Band Directors, the Band Officers, the Section Leaders and the rest of the Band! v Meet the BPA Board, and all of the other fun Band Parents! v Check out the Charger Band Spirit Items v Sign up for the many fun-volunteering opportunities! v Enjoy a delicious meal cooked and served by our very own Band Dads & Moms! 9 8 Thursday, September 27 th, 2018 in the Cafeteria 5:30pm to 7:30pm (Before the school wide Pep Rally) This major Band Fundraiser is held just before the evening Pep Rally for the football game against Reagan! Funds from this event are used to support the purchases of music, equipment and other supplies needed to make the Churchill Charger Band a great success! Your evening will include:! A delicious Spaghetti dinner, including salad, bread and tea. (Vegetarian option available)! Dine In or Take Out for just $10.00 per meal!! Many Silent Auction Items will be available to bid on! Memorial bricks are located around the flagpole. Personalized bricks are available for purchase to honor students, teachers, friends, parents, volunteers, teams or anyone you wish to memorialize. It s a great way to leave a lasting legacy at Winston Churchill High School. All proceeds from the sales of the bricks will benefit the WC Band education program and scholarship fund. Parents: These duffel bags come in handy for carrying video/camera equipment and other necessities to games or whenever cheering on the band! Indicate where you would be interested in volunteering your time and talents.
