7 Annual course. No more than 10 unexcused absences before receiving an NC. Semester course. No more than 5 unexcused absences before receiving an NC. Absences and NO CREDIT will jeopardize your graduation as well as participation in your senior activities. Seniors, don t let too many absences PREVENT you from graduating.

8 No more than 10 excused or unexcused absences for the entire year No more than 20 excused or unexcused tardies for the entire year No more than 10 excused or unexcused signing out early for the entire year No more than 10 days of indoor or outdoor suspension for the entire year

9 Yearbooks are currently $60 Last year we sold out, don t wait!! SENIOR ADS A full page is $200 1/2 page is $125 1/4 page is $75 Business card size is $40 You can now buy your yearbook online with a credit card! A Spread (2 full pages) is $300 (tentative prices)

10 For an extra $15 you can add four pages to your own yearbook. Pictures of you, your family, & friends Poems and stories you wrote Pictures of artwork you created. 14 Students who have a total of: six (6) days of suspension and/or 10 or more absences (excused or unexcused) and/or 20 or more days tardy and/or 10 or more days being signed out early and drop below a 2.0 in academics and in conduct will not be allowed to participate in extra-curricular activities. 14

16 Please be advised that all events must be paid in CASH ONLY! Additionally, no $100 or $50 bills will be accepted. The only exception is when buying a yearbook, at which time we accept checks but only until March, after March you must pay in cash.

23 Caps & Gowns ($22) *BRING EXACT AMOUNT NOVEMBER 12 th -13th - THROUGH ENGLISH CLASS Make up day is ONLY: Tues. November 17 th STUDENTS: it is YOUR responsibility to do this! If not, you will HAVE to wait until the day before graduation, and go to Herff Jones on your own. Then the cost will be $45 and you may not get your size!!

25 They are FREE We only give 4 tickets per student Due to limited seating at the facility (FIU) Only seniors who sold extra magazines during our fundraiser will receive extra tickets PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY!

26 This is FIU s facility, and their rules. The day of the event, their staff will be the ones taking the tickets: please be advised. *No baby strollers are permitted.

27 Will probably be announced before Winter Break in December The District sets this date, the school has no control over the date, time, or location Most likely, we will have an 8:00 pm ceremony and it will be at FIU (main campus) in The Century Bank Arena SW 8 th Street

29 If we have an 8:00 pm ceremony students need to plan on arriving NO LATER than: 6:45 pm (traffic is bad) Seniors will NOT get their caps and gowns until the week before graduation ONLY AFTER they have been cleared by their counselors. ** Make sure your attendance is good, your 60 hours of community service are turned in, and you have turned in ALL virtual school work way ahead of time.

30 You will also get your graduation tickets Your medallion to be worn as well Any cords you have earned by having a GPA of 4.0 or higher, top 10%, or top 5% of the class You Name Reader Card which must be filled out in order to be read when you walk On that card the place and order you need to line up in will be indicated DO NOT LOSE THIS CARD AFTER THE CEREMONY, GRADUATES WILL RETURN THEIR GOWNS (WHICH ARE RENTED) BUT CAN KEEP THEIR CAPS AND MEDALLIONS

31 Write your name VERY CLEARLY, and in the proper phonetic spelling.. THIS IS HOW IT WILL BE READ AS YOU CROSS THE STAGE! 32 This is the back of the card where you need to put your information so the photography company can send your proofs.. They take pictures of you receiving your diploma and as you walk off the stage

33 Parents, please be advised that the graduation ceremony will begin PROMPTLY at the exact time the ticket reads. The doors will close 10 minutes prior to the ceremony and WILL NOT re-open. Please be on time

34 If your child is caught throwing their cap after the ceremony, their diploma could be withheld. Both students and spectators are expected to conduct themselves respectfully throughout this very dignified ceremony. Also, please note this ceremony is recorded. Anyone entering the facility is giving consent to be recorded.

35 If you are interested in purchasing the ceremony recoded on DVD, there will be an order form in your child s cap and gown bag when they are distributed. These forms can be turned into our TV Production Instructor: Mr. Lampard.
