6 PRBB as 501(c)-3 PRBB is now officially a 501(c) 3 organization. Being "501(c)(3)" means that a particular nonprofit organization has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, charitable organization. Exemption Requirements - 501(c)(3) Organizations. To be tax-exempt under section501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. Part of Pine-Richland United Booster Organization (PRUBO) Band holds Member-at-Large seat on PRUBO Board PRBB complies with district policy 915 Largest Impact: Fundraising
7 Spring Band Trip Destination and trip details will be made available upon approval by the PRSD School Board. This usually occurs in September. ALL trip chaperones must have independent volunteer clearances. The Chaperone List for all events has been determined based on Interests selected in Charms. The Chaperone Chairs are in contact with this group and making assignments. Trip chaperones will be selected from this Chaperone List. Individual fundraising done by students last year no longer carries over. Individual student accounts no longer exist.

10 Charms PR Marching Band Utilizes a site called Charms to Manage Registration, Communication, and Spiritwear Store Band information is ed to families via Charms Texts for arrival to the school following away games and other events is communicated via Charms Spiritwear Store is online deadlines will be communicated via and the website We rely on parents to ensure contact information is correct.

14 Treasurer s Report Treasurer, Dan Kerr The boosters are on solid financial footing. Fiscal Year closed on 6/30/17 with a cash balance of $51,337.25, of which $9, belongs to the Dance Team. Total operating & fundraising income from was $163, and the expenses were $166,880.41, resulting in a net operating loss of $3, It is typical for a Florida band trip year to have a loss (trip to Universal Studios); Profit in was $9, The annual audit began in late July and is almost finished. As of 8/8/17 the cash balance is $66,151.40, of which $5, belongs to the Dance Team. Band Registration is ongoing. PRBB has received $16, to date. Expect to receive more payments in August.

30 Kennywood Tickets In case you missed it, we have Kennywood tickets! Purchase your Kennywood tickets from the Band Boosters. This is one of our biggest fundraisers. Ticket Sales: 2000 Ride-All-Day Tickets - $32/ticket 500 Night Rider Tickets - $26/ticket Beth Farbacher - Ticket Sales coordinator Tickets are valid most days of the season $10 surcharge on black-out days, which is still cheaper than regular $44.99 Kennywood ticket Tickets are good all summer, not just Kennywood Day Season not over until September Tickets also available for purchase at Pine Community Center (checks only), Pine-Richland Youth Center, and Nextier Bank (Wexford Office Only). 31 Football Ticket Sales Immediately following meeting Board Members, Committee Chairs, and Fundraising Chairs purchase first Tickets will be sold by class following the order of the sign up sheets (i.e., senior parents first in the order in which they signed up before the meeting) Sign-up sheets used to establish place in line People arriving after the start of the meeting will purchase last after all grades of those signed up have had a chance to purchase Reminder: If your student s registration is not complete, you will be ineligible to purchase tickets. Seat tickets sold as a set. Each set includes tickets for all 4 home games. Season Ticket Sets are $60 per seat for Box Seats and $40 per seat for Reserved Seats. Have your checks ready to go payable to Pine-Richland School District Maximum four (4) seats per family A seating chart will be projected during the ticket sales it will be updated with seats sold. When it is your turn to purchase, please be ready with the seats you want to purchase. Reminder: Parking passes are not being sold this is for band parent section season tickets only
