1 Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey, P.C. is hosting the inaugural Roy Hailey Memorial to be held on at the. Roy Hailey was an extraordinary individual, attorney, and advocate. He died too young at the age of 59. At the time of his death he was a named shareholder at Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey, P.C. and was also serving as co-chair of Texas Community Association Advocates, a lobby organization that advocates on behalf of community associations and their members. To honor his memory, Pam Bailey, president of Chaparral Management Company and Rick Butler and Marc Markel, shareholders at Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey, P.C. have established The Roy Hailey Memorial Education Foundation. The entity was established as a Texas non-profit corporation and was formed for the purpose of advancing professionalism in the management of community associations by providing educational opportunities and scholarships to managers of community associations working toward industry certifications as well as educational opportunities for the volunteers that serve community associations. The Roy Hailey Memorial Education Foundation is incorporated as a 501(c)(3), and is funded by family, friends, and colleagues. We are in need of funds to supply scholarships to support managers who are working toward their PCAM designation as well as to provide education to the volunteers that serve community associations. Contributions to the Foundation are fully tax-deductible.
