The session will inform you of the criteria for admission to College of Veterinary Medicine. It will also present tips on how to present a strong application for admissions consideration. Learn about volunteer and research opportunities. Find out what it really takes to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Veterinary Technologist. It covers topics that engineering students before you have put together to help make the transition to college and engineering easier. Learn about the different types of engineering Purdue has to offer and how to choose the right discipline for you. In addition, the students will give tips on how to study, take exams, get involved on campus, balance the work load while having fun, and find your first engineering job! Entrepreneurship at Purdue: The Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program- Thursday August 15 th /Friday August 16 th, EE 117 Paving your own path in the business world takes perseverance, inspiration, knowledge, effective communication, and leadership abilities. Through the Purdue Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program, you will develop the skills to pursue your groundbreaking ideas, whether you're launching your own company, working in a start-up venture, or spearheading new initiatives within an existing organization. This session introduces you to what you need to do as an undergraduate to prepare for a professional school program. You can enter these fields from any major and students from all majors are encouraged to come to this session if they have any interest in health careers. We will discuss academic credentials, volunteering, health care experience, and developing professionalism. You will also learn about services offered here at Purdue to help you through your pre-professional years.

This session provides you the information you need to develop the critical thinking, research, communication, and professionalism skills required of you to apply for and succeed in law school. Students from all majors pursue legal studies and all students with an interest in attending law school are encouraged to come to this session. Legal studies can prepare you for careers in a number of fields such as litigation, lobbying, politics, health care, management, environment, intellectual property, and criminal law. Come On Down!...to Study Abroad - Thursday August 15 th /Friday August 16 th, WTHR 200 By mixing elements of The Price Is Right, Let s Make a Deal and other popular TV game shows we ll show you how to best include a study abroad experience into your time at Purdue. Keeping Your Faith Going During College- Thursday, August 15 th, BRNG 2280 You don't have to put your spiritual life on pause for the next four years. Students will be able to participate in games and activities found at a traditional carnival. We ll have an obstacle course, a bounce house, snow cones, clowns, and more! 2:00 pm College of Education Res Hall Lobby College of Education New Student Orientation: iteach. Meet in the lobby of: Harrison, Meredith, Owen, Shreve, or Wiley. New College of Education students interacting with other new students, current ambassadors, faculty, and staff 2:00 pm College of Engineering Armstrong Hall College of Engineering Welcome Picnic and Open House. Join faculty, staff, and current students at the College of Engineering Welcome Picnic and Open House. Enjoy a tour of Armstrong Hall, meet the Dean, chat with advisors, enjoy fresh-grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, and take home a special gift just for first-year engineers. Be welcomed, get involved, and eat ice cream. 2:00 pm Krannert School of Management Krannert Drawing Room Beginning students have the opportunity to meet and hear about Krannert from upperclassmen. 2:00 pm College of Liberal Arts Pao Hall Hansen Theater Get to know the College of Liberal Arts and meet other majors and departments. 2:00 pm College of Pharmacy Pharmacy Building (RHPH) 172 Introduction to first semester pre-pharmacy 2:00 pm College of Science Memorial Mall This event serves to welcome incoming freshmen to the College of Science and allows them the opportunity to meet other students as well as faculty. Pizza and soft drinks will be available for all guests. 2:00 pm College of Technology Electrical Engineering (EE) 129 Dean's welcome, faculty session, and a student panel.

16 4:30-7:00 pm Meet the Greeks Memorial Mall Meet the Greeks is an Information Fair for fraternity and sorority life at Purdue University. Each of the 79 organizations that are part of this community will have a table with information about their chapter s events, philanthropies, athletics, service and values. Meet the Greeks is a great opportunity for a new student to meet Greek representatives from every chapter at Purdue. There will also be music and free food provided. 4:00-9:00 pm Tippecanoe Mall Run Bus locations/mall Use the same bus locations from Meijer and Target and take it to the mall!
