Officer working Operation Border Star conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer for no front LP. The officer discovered the driver had outstanding traffic warrants from Edinburg and he was arrested. While inventorying the vehicle lbs of cocaine was discovered in the center console of vehicle. Wanted Subject / Gang Member:-: Criminal Arrests 1 TxMap # Reported by: Elsa PD Date/Time: 11/15/ :05 hrs Location: 216 E. 4 th St. Elsa, TX (Hidalgo Co.) Subject reported to the Elsa Police Department to register as a sex offender and during the process subject was found to have an outstanding warrant. Subject was placed into custody, due to mention warrant being confirmed. Subject stated that he belong to "Los Borrachos de Villa (PRM)" gang. Drug Seizure:-: Criminal Arrests 1 TxMap # Reported by: La Joya PD Date/Time: 11/01/ :01 hrs Location: 200 W. Expressway 83 La Joya, TX (Hidalgo Co.) Officers seized lbs of marijuana following a traffic stop on a white 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe with Texas License plates on the 300 block of Expressway 83. The narcotic was concealed inside the vehicle s rear cabin. The driver was placed under arrest and the vehicle was impounded.

Officers apprehended 3-UA s and 5-OTM s following a traffic stop on a black 1999 Grande Jeep Cherokee. All 8 subjects were released to the USBP. Drug Seizure:-: Criminal Arrests 1 TxMap # Reported by: La Joya PD Date/Time: 11/10/ :20 hrs Location: FM 2221 La Joya, TX (Hidalgo Co.) Officers seized 186 lbs of marijuana following a traffic stop on a green 1996 Dodge Van with Texas License plates on the Expressway 83 and FM The driver was placed under arrest and the vehicle seized. SHERIFF STATE DPS / AVN: TxMap # Reported by: DPS McAllen Date/Time: 11/15/11 14:00 00:00 Location: Rio Grande River area, TX (Hidalgo Co.) DPS 108 Aircrew providing border security flights assisted US Border Patrol and the Joint Operations Team with bail-out at Ware Road and Military Highway. Vehicle suspect bailed out of contained bundles of Marijuana. Aircrew searching the area was advised from DPS subjects under the brush. Aircrew guided the team to location, and suspect, suspect fled on foot north bound into a commercial area where suspect was captured hiding under a Truck tractor. DPS / AVN: TxMap # Reported by: DPS McAllen Date/Time: 11/16/11 08:00 12:00 Location: FM 1017, TX (Starr Co.) DPS 107 was notified of a pursuit by a Starr County deputy that was headed east on FM 1017 from Starr County. The pursuit ended in a bailout just north of FM 1017 and FM 681. The aircrew arrived on scene and began to search. The Joint Operations Team arrived and deployed with a K-9 unit and after a thorough search turned up negative results. While searching, USBP called and advised of a group of approximately 20 suspects that were possibly linked to the search we were on. The aircrew changed locations to approximately 8 miles to the North West and continued to search with negative results. 2

3 DPS 107 was called by USBP to assist with a search around the Falfurrias check point on US 281. The aircrew was advised that a large group of suspects were in the area just north and west of the checkpoint. When the aircrew arrived BP Agents had 10 suspects in custody and 6 were outstanding. A search was conducted with negative results. USBP asked if the aircrew could check south of the checkpoint, south of FM 755 and west of US 281 for a group that was located by a ranch gate security officer. The aircrew arrived and searched the area. The aircrew quickly located 6 suspects hiding in a group of trees. DPS / AVN: TxMap # Reported by: DPS McAllen Date/Time: 11/16/11 04:00 14:00 Location: Mission area, TX (Hidalgo Co.) DPS Aircrew was requested to assist USBP Agents just north of Margo s Pump on Military Rd. The agents were tracking (8) suspected backpackers north toward US 83. The aircrew along with the Joint Operations Team arrived on scene and began to search the area out in front of the agents as the attempted to track the suspects. The aircrew was unable to locate any suspects. The ground units located the tracks heading back to the river and determined that the suspects had already dropped off their narcotics load and made it back to the river. The aircrew along with the Joint Operations Team responded to assist Mission Police Department and Hidalgo Sheriff s Deputies with a police pursuit northbound on Sherry Rd. The Officers were pursuing a Maroon Chevy SUV with a single occupant. The suspects bailed out at Los Ebanos and 8 Mile and fled southbound on foot. The officer quickly apprehended the suspect. It was unknown why the suspect fled from officers. Drug Seizure:-: Criminal Arrests 2 TxMap # Reported by: DPS / THP Date/Time: 11/10/ :27 hrs Location: US 83 Sullivan City, TX (Hidalgo Co.) Trooper attempted a traffic stop on a 2001 Lincoln LS with Texas license plates. A pursuit ensued, driver drove into brush and subjects bailed-out and absconded. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 245 lbs of marijuana. The Joint Operations Team along with USBP was able to apprehend and arrest 2 scouts associated with this incident. 3

CBP-OFO Officers seized 10 bundles 11.9 lbs of methamphetamine concealed in the pants legs do the driver and passenger of a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado with Texas License plates. Two female subjects, 1-USC and 1-Mexican citizen were placed under arrest and vehicle was seized. Drug Seizure:-: Criminal Arrest 0 TxMap # Reported by: CBP-OFO Date/Time: 11/15/ :00 hrs Location: Pharr POE, TX (Hidalgo Co.) CBP-OFO Officers seized 16 lbs of cocaine concealed in a man made compartment located on the front end of the frame rails that held the front bumper to the 2006 Chevrolet Equinox with Texas License plates. The vehicle was seized. Drug Seizure:-: Criminal Arrest 2 TxMap # Reported by: USBP Falfurrias Station Date/Time: 11/14/ :30 hrs Location: Falfurrias, TX (Brooks Co.) FLF Agents seized 28.0 lbs of marijuana valued at $22, near Falfurrias, Texas. Agents seized four bundles of marijuana from a 1997 Chevrolet Malibu. Two adult male USC subjects were arrested. DEA assumed custody of the subjects and the narcotics. The vehicle was seized as per RGV Sector Asset and Forfeiture guidelines. Drug Seizure:-: Criminal Arrest 0 TxMap # Reported by: USBP Falfurrias Station Date/Time: 11/14/ :30 hrs Location: Falfurrias, TX (Brooks Co.) FLF Agents seized 33.4 lbs of marijuana valued at $26, near Falfurrias, Texas. Agents conducting an immigration inspection on a north bound bus seized two bundles of marijuana concealed in the toilet. No subjects were arrested. DEA assumed custody of narcotics. 4

MCS Agents seized lbs of marijuana valued at $295, near Madero, Texas. Agents performing linewatch duties seized a total of 25 bundles of marijuana from a 2007 Ford Fusion. No subjects were arrested. DEA assumed custody of the narcotics. The vehicle was seized as per RGV Sector Asset and Forfeiture guidelines. MCS Agents seized 16.0 lbs of marijuana valued at $12, near Edinburg, Texas. Agents seized a total of two bundles of marijuana. No subjects were arrested. DEA assumed custody of the narcotics. RGC Agents seized lbs of marijuana valued at $272, near Rio Grande City, Texas. Agents performing linewatch duties seized 15 bundles of marijuana from a 2008 Saturn Aura. One adult male USC was arrested. HIDTA assumed custody of the narcotics, the subject, and the vehicle. 5

RGC Agents seized lbs of marijuana valued at $139, near Fronton, Texas. Agents performing linewatch duties seized a total of five bundles of marijuana from a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville. One adult male USC and one adult male Mexican national were arrested. Starr County Sheriff s Office assumed custody of the narcotics, the subjects, and the vehicle.
