AF Scholarships pay for tuition and fees up to: Type I Unlimited (Technical majors) Type II - $18,000/yr (Technical majors) Type III - $9,000/yr (all schools) (All majors) Type VI - $3,000/yr (all schools) (All majors) Type VII - Approximately $9,000/yr (capped at in-state tuition rate; can only be used at schools where student qualifies for in-state tuition and scholarship covers all tuition and fees) (Non-Technical majors) Monthly Stipend: $250-$400 (Subject to change ) Annual Book Allowance
8 While in High School: Complete application by Dec. 1 st Take and receive results of either ACT or SAT Submit academic scores and standings Minimum ACT (26) or SAT (1180) (written portion exempt) Class rank GPA (3.0) List of advanced placement or honors courses completed through grade 11 Complete a scholarship interview at local AFROTC Detachment
