2 Mission Statement The Delaware Police Department endeavors to maintain order, enforce laws fairly and protect the life, peace and property of the citizens of Delaware. 24 Records Division Alarm Licensing Currently residences and businesses are licensed in the city. Records processes each license and tracks all false alarms that occur in the city, billing when necessary.

25 Radio Communications Consolidation merged the Police Department and Delaware County 911 on March 30,2010 Consolidation follows a national trend Believed this will provide better coordination between emergency providers in Delaware County.
