1 March 24, 2008 Captain s Message: Today, at 1200 noon, four officers from Bayview Station were assigned full-time to the Alice Griffith Housing Development. These officers will conduct foot patrols, respond to calls for service, establish a close working relationship with tenants and management and conduct community outreach in the development. This program mirrors similar efforts in four other Housing Authority properties in San Francisco. In each of these locations, incidents of serious crime and violence have been significantly reduced, and we expect similar reductions in Alice Griffith.
