1 November 25, 2009 Captain s Message: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! From myself and all the officers at Bayview Station I d like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Upcoming Events: GET INVOLVED!!! Subject: Reading Partners at Bret Harte Elementary Hello, I am the Site Coordinator at Bret Harte Elementary School for Reading Partners. Reading Partners is an education based nonprofit that offers one-on-one support to students who have been teacher identified as half to two and a half grade levels behind in reading. At Bret Harte, there is a high demand for our support, but because 1

2 we rely so heavily on volunteers to serve as tutors to our students, we have not been able to enroll more than 10 students in our program. Reading Partners would like the opportunity to post information and leave flyers with your organization in efforts to spread the word about our program and get more community members involved. If you'd like more information about Reading Partners, please visit or feel free to contact me with further questions. Thank you for your help in advance. Best Regards, Amber Amber Busby Site Coordinator, Bret Harte Elementary Reading Partners Ph. (415) ext rs.org
